Democratic 2020 presidential race frontrunner, Elizabeth Warren, was reportedly hounded by a group of Trump supporters who followed her through Reno-Tahoe International Airport shouting “Don’t impeach!” and "Go home!" on Wednesday.

The incident came to light after the Nevada Republican Party shared a video on Twitter showing the group following the Massachusetts Senator through the terminal where she got into a van waiting for her.

Warren ignored the protesters as they held up signs and continued to shout at her, asking her to "go home." The video was also shared by the Nevada Republican Party state Chairman Michael J. McDonald, who wrote: "Welcome to Reno ⁦@ewarren! This is @teamtrump country!!"

Later on Wednesday, the Democrat was speaking to a larger and a pleasant audience and in Carson City when a Trump supporter interrupted her speech at the event while holding a sign that read "Keep America Great." The interruption prompted Warren supporters to unanimously chant: "Lock him up!"

Warren, in response, said to the crowd: "There's a lot we need to do," according to New York Times reporter Thomas Kaplan. The Senator continued, saying: "And I understand, I understand that Donald Trump and his supporters are getting really nervous, and they have a good reason to be."

Warren, over the recent weeks, has surged in the list of the Democrats running for the White House in 2020. The Massachusetts lawmaker, in a new national poll released this week, surpassed former Vice President Joe Biden. The former vice president, till now, had been topping the polls in the Democratic primary race.

Warren, on Wednesday, also laughed off the suggestion that Trump should be banned from Twitter after one of her 2020 primary opponents, Sen. Kamala Harris, called for his suspension.

A reporter asked Warren: "Should Donald Trump be banned from Twitter?" The lawmaker laughed and responded simply with a "No."
