'True Detective' season 3: Is Margaret "the aunt"? Emily Nelson is willing to tell us everything but she doesn't want to ruin the mystery
We are at a crucial juncture in the 'True Detective' plot - the story has run half its course and the investigative duo has finally decided to pursue the real truth.
There was something odd about the way Margaret smiled, the first time she appeared on 'True Detective's current season 3. She seemed too friendly, too polite, too God-fearing and just too sweet. It was as though she had lived all her life by the righteous side of the moral compass and was quick to judge the alcoholic mother Lucy Purcell, the moment her kids disappeared. Margaret got involved in the case after a preliminary probe that found that she was one of the last few neighbors to see Will and Julie before they vanished. Co-incidentally, she also had Halloween decorations in her hand in the first episode - the investigation reveals much later that the kids had met their abductor on Halloween.
