'True Beauty' Episode 14: Will Ju-kyung date Seo-jun like in comics ? Su-ho heartbroken as she leaves for US
'True Beauty' Episode 14 will see one of the top commented scenes from the webcomic get adapted, however, that is not the best thing for fans who are shipping Su-ho (Cha Eun-woo) and Ju-kyung (Moon Ga-young). While things begin on a happy note as Ju-kyung decides to only listen to people who love her and believe only in them. So how she looks, who she is as a person are things that she shouldn't decide based on what people she doesn't know have to say.
This is a great place to be for Ju-kyung who has for the longest time felt uncomfortable about herself. However, not all good things last forever and this one too seems to be shortlived. You see, Su-ho wants to break up with Ju-kyung. Could it really be a result of jealousy because Su-ho cannot be so immature as to wanting to break up with Ju-kyung just because Seo-jun (Hwang In-yeop) said that he wanted to confess to her.
Turns out that Seo-jun really does want to confess to Ju-kyung even if he were to be rejected by her. So, the first person he shares this is none other than Su-ho and considering how the two are friends and Su-ho is currently dating Ju-kyung. We also see Ju-kyung step out with Seo-jun and he seems extremely happy about it. She even picks a pair of earrings for him and this seems to somehow aggravate Su-ho. He asks Ju-kyung angrily the next day why she wouldn't pick his call and quite angrily, he also tells her that they should break up.
We then see him take a flight and after having heard about how his father had invited him to the US, he might very well be headed there. He is in tears even as he boards his plane and that makes us wonder if he was forced to break up with Ju-kyung to ensure that she did not face any hardship. In the comics, Su-ho's father had been hurt while working on a film and this had resulted in him leaving. However, at this time, he hadn't been dating Ju-kyung. In the show, however, he is currently dating Su-ho and Seo-jun is also aware of the same.
In the comics, Ju-kyung had begun dating Seo-jun after three years during which time they had become really close friends. Seo-jun had then decided to make a debut as an idol and his popularity resulted in the two's break up. However, in the show, with just three episodes left, what would happen to Su-ho and Ju-kyung?
'True Beauty' episodes will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10.30 pm on tvN in Seoul, and can be streamed on Viki in the US.
