In Season 2, Amanda Pharrell (Nicole Chamoun) and Ted Conkaffey (Thomas Jane) team up to investigate the murder of Julian Naughton, the owner of a retreat center.

So far, Detective Pip Sweeney (Zindzi Okenyo) has suspected that Raph Naughton (Ethan Lwin) killed his father. Raph attempted to burn the shirt he wore on the night of the killing.
Raph claimed that the blood stains on the shirt were from a nosebleed. However, as the test reports from the examination of the evidence are revealed, it gives a whole new dimension to the mystery.
In Episode 4 of 'Troppo' Season 2, it's discovered that the shirt not only contains Raph's blood but also Julian's. However, the bigger twist is that Julian is not Raph's father.
The doctor at Crimson Lake Hospital reveals that Raph is Twist's son.
Twist's evil schemes to create havoc in Raph Naughton's life in 'Troppo Season 2
At this point, it remains unclear whether Twist (Simon Lyndon) is aware that Raph is his son. He is focused on his illegal drug business and has forcefully dragged Raph's girlfriend Tayla (Miah Madden) and her mother Ronnie (Ursula Yovich) into it.
Many years ago, Ronnie borrowed a large sum of money from Twist to save her business. Everything was going smoothly until Julian's death, which prompted Twist to return and interfere in their lives.
Twist has now forced Ronnie into becoming his partner, allowing him to conduct illegal operations on her land. Twist's main goal is to cut out the middlemen to increase his share of profits, putting Ronnie and her daughter's safety at risk.
Raph, being quite attached to Tayla and Ronnie, is sticking to their sides, unwary of what Twist is truly capable of!
It would be interesting to see how the new revelation would impact Raph in the upcoming episodes and if it would help Amanda, Ted, and Pip to get to the bottom of Julian's murder mystery.
