NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Donald Trump’s attorney Alina Habba spoke to the press during a brief recess from the civil fraud trial in New York, and mentioned that Judge Arthur Engoron had sternly told her to "sit down," emphasizing the tense atmosphere in the courtroom.

Former President Donald Trump testified in a high-profile fraud case on Monday, alongside his sons Don Jr and Eric and the Trump Organization, facing allegations of a long-running $250 million fraud scheme.

Trump looked angry while on the witness stand, raising his voice and launching verbal attacks on Judge Engoron, who holds the pivotal role in determining the outcome of the non-jury trial, and New York Attorney General Letitia James. He accused them of "trying to hurt" him as he testified in his own defense.

Following this event, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to report on Habba’s claims against Judge Engoron.

However, the internet blasted the attorney and called her out for being a “victim."

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “HABBA: “I was told to sit down today. I was yelled at and I had a judge who is unhinged slamming a table. I don’t tolerate that in my life. I’m not going to tolerate it here.”

Hannity’s tweet presented an article from his official website titled, “HABBA GETS HEATED: Trump Lawyer Says Judge 'Unhinged,' 'I Don't Tolerate That' [WATCH].”

In the article, it was highlighted that Donald Trump’s lawyer was brutally slammed by Judge Arthur Engoron on Monday’s trial as reported by her while talking to the press.

She said, “You have a right to hire a lawyer who can stand up and stay something when they see something wrong.”

Earlier in the proceedings, Habba interrupted the court proceedings and informed Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron that she was present to listen to Trump's testimony.

She argued that her client should be permitted to provide comprehensive responses with extended explanations.

However, the judge told her, “I am not here to listen to what he has to say!” telling Habba to “sit down.”

Internet dubs Alina Habba a ‘victim’

After Sean Hannity reported on Alina Habba getting slammed by Judge Arthur Engoron, the internet also took a brutal jab at Donald Trump’s attorney.

One person wrote, “She won't tolerate it so much, that she immediately sat down and shut up.”

One more person trolled Habba adding, “victim much?” and another said, “Is this her first time in a courtroom?”

A person simply called out Habba saying, “Buckle up Habba Babba - shit just got real!”

One wrote, “If this is beyond her capacity as an attorney (it is) and she's not going to tolerate a judge controlling his court room (his job), then she should look at going back to defending parking tickets. Usually, people move on from things they won't tolerate. (hint).”

Another said, “Not sure where ya got your law degree but it’s ALWAYS the judges court room!”

One more brutally mocked her saying, "No she's going to cry like a little baby in front of a camera and then she's going to what...? GO SIT DOWN! What a loser.”
