Trolls galore as AOC storms off after realizing she was posing for a photo with 'Libs of TikTok' founder Chaya Raichik

'You're actually super transphobic, and I never want to share a space with you,' Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told Chaya Raichik before walking away

WASHINGTON, DC: Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stormed off in a fit of rage after calling "Libs of TikTok" founder Chaya Raichik "super transphobic" in a heated Capitol Hill exchange that was captured last week. The right-wing Heritage Foundation produced the video that Raichik posted on Thursday, March 30.

The 'Libs of TikTok' creator addressed Ocasio-Cortez after they came into contact in the congressional complex. In the video, the New York Rep told Raichik, "You're actually super transphobic, and I never want to share a space with you." Then she turned and walked away. Ocasio-Cortez is also heard saying, "Thank you," while pointing to a nearby mobile phone camera that recorded the momentous conversation.

'Lied about me in a committee hearing'

Raichik took to Twitter to claim that she was on Capitol Hill to deliver a violation of ethics to Ocasio-Cortez after she "lied about me in a committee hearing." Raichik appears alongside Mike Howell of the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project in the video. The two are submitting an ethical complaint to the congresswoman's office, which serves sections of Queens and the Bronx. Heritage filed a complaint accusing Ocasio-Cortez of "defaming" Raichik during a House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing on February 8.

What did AOC claim during the hearing?

During the hearing, Ocasio-Cortez said Raichik falsified when she said Boston Children's Hospital was "now offering 'gender affirming hysterectomies' for young girls." "Are you aware… that from Aug. 11 to Aug. 16 that account posted false information about Boston Children’s Hospital claiming that they were providing hysterectomies to children?" Ocasio-Cortez questioned an ex-Twitter exec about Raichik’s tweet. "And are you aware that this lie was then circulated by other prominent far-right influencers?" Ocasio-Cortez asked, as per New York Post.

What was the complaint about?

According to the Heritage Foundation's nine-page complaint, Ocasio-Cortez violated ethics standards by "knowingly and intentionally defaming Chaya Raichik, creator of the viral Libs of TikTok account, falsely accusing her of lying and disseminating disinformation..."

'What a coward!'

People are already criticizing AOC after the footage of her storming away from Raichik went viral on social media. Additionally, it had escalated to a Twitter feud with the Rep writing, "You bet I did. NYC doesn’t play with bigots and transphobes and neither do I. Have a great day!" While the Libs of TikTok page shared the screenshot of her comment and mentioned, "AOC bolted the second she realized who I was cuz she knows she lied about me and was scared to face me. What a coward!"

Many users supported the creator and slammed AOC. A user tweeted, "Babe no one is scared of you and learn how to enunciate." Another person wrote, "Well done for confronting AOC Alexandria Ocasio-Communist!" One person remarked, "Sue her for defamation!" "@AOC is a coward," wrote one user. While another user claimed, "AOC is super antisemitic, as it turns out." One user commented, "She ran like any typical coward." Another wrote, "I was surprised that she hates you but doesn't know how you look like and now you have a pic with her like you are the best friends, it's hilarious."
