Transgender teen bites rapist's penis to escape horrific sexual assault on her first night out as woman
A transgender teen who was raped on her first night out by three men managed to escape the ordeal by biting on one of her attacker's penis.
The horrific incident reportedly unfolded in the Belgian city of Antwerp on June 22 last year when the victim, 17, had gone out with two of her friends to the Red & Blue gay club in the city, according to the Daily Mail.
She was harassed by a 34-year-old man while inside the club. When she went outside for some fresh air, the same man and two of his accomplices, aged 24 and 25, confronted her.
The trio allegedly followed her and forced her into a taxi while she was still trying to figure out what was happening.
The 24-year-old suspect started groping her at this point.
The trans-teen tried to push the perpetrator away but was too weak to succeed.
The victim was eventually taken to the latter's flat in the Deurne district of the city where she was raped by him and the two other men, in turns.
Local media reported that she managed to escape from the flat after she bit one of the men in the penis, and then took the incident to the police, who worked quickly to track down the culprits.
When confronted, the suspects initially claimed to the cops that they were never at the Red & Blue club and denied ever coming into contact with the victim.
However, they had to change their stories after investigators found DNA evidence on her body that was a match to theirs.
Public prosecutors in Antwerp have announced that they have indicted the three men involved in the incident and will reportedly be demanding six-year prison sentences for all three.
The victim's lawyer also asked for harsh punishment, saying, "My client is transgender. That night was the first time she went out as a female, something which makes the facts more severe."
The lawyer also demanded that the three men pay the victim $8,854 in damages.
However, the attorney for the 34-year-old man is professing innocence and said, "My client no longer denies that sexual acts happened, but they did not happen against the victim's will."
The two other men have similarly claimed that the sex was consensual.
