Spoilers for ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The ‘Transformers’ franchise is undoubtedly one of the most loved franchises, with a large and dedicated fan base. This fan base is only about to get larger now that ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ is officially out. There’s a lot to love and look out for when it comes to ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ but a few elements definitely stand out in the latest movie and there’s no looking away from them.

One such element is the friendship between Noah Diaz and Mirage. Anthony Ramos has done an exceptional job playing Noah in ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ but his best scenes are when he is with Mirage, one of the cooler Autobots, especially when compared to someone like Optimus Prime. From the get-go, Mirage and Noah have an exciting relationship, and it truly steals the show!

Mirage and Noah’s meet-cute… sort of

There are a lot of serious moments at the beginning of ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ as they establish the plot and different subplots that are set to emerge in the movie. The movie picks up pace when Noah meets Mirage for the first time. Noah is in desperate need of money, and in an attempt to get some cash, stealing a car looks like the best-case scenario. The car Noah picks happens to be Mirage, and that’s when it all begins. As soon as Optimus Prime calls for all the Autobots to assemble, Noah is already sitting in Mirage. Mirage decides to take Noah for the ride of life, giving the viewers one of the best car chases in the ‘Transformers’ franchise.

There’s terror when Noah comes to face with Mirage’s Autobot form, but it takes less than five seconds for Mirage to be the friendliest robot ever. It also helps that Pete Davidson voices Mirage, which gives this character a brilliant touch. Noah and Mirage’s meeting is one of the biggest highlights of the movie, and as ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ progresses, it only gets better.

Mirage and Noah save each other

The battle at the end of ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ has a lot going on, from the Autobots to the Terrorcons, to the Maximals. So you almost have to pick and choose something to focus on, and we would highly recommend Noah and Mirage. Mirage almost sacrifices himself to save Noah and barely recovers. Mirage lets Noah take over his Autobot form, giving Noah the coolest superhero look, or well, superbot. Mirage also makes sure to keep in touch with Noah’s younger brother Chris throughout ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ giving him updates, which served as the perfect emotional touch. A spin-off movie with Noah and Mirage should definitely be the next in line for the ‘Transformers’ franchise.

You can now watch ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ from June 9, 2023, in theatres near you.
