Spoiler Alert for 'Trackers' Episode 4

With three stories intertwined into one another, 'Trackers' ended on a pulsating note last week after Lemmer (James Gracie) fires a bullet at Nkunzi (Sissanda Henna). This week's episode begins with the latter lying in a pool of blood as Lemmer flees from the scene. Soon, the PBI learns about the murder and Quinn Makebe (Thapelo Mokoena) goes on to hunt the killer.

Lemmer, however, is clever enough to cause an explosion that stops Quinn from reaching to him. As the PBI dig in further, they get wind of some calls between Lucas Becker (Ed Stoppard) and Nkunzi. Lucas becomes the PBI's primary suspect in Inkunzi's murder — and though Janina Mentz (Sandi Schultz) senses a government conspiracy afoot, she finally seeks the CIA's help in cracking open Shaheed Osman's (Brendon Daniels) plan.

The missing pieces are juxtaposed on each other as Milla Strachan (Rolanda Marais) realizes the man she slept with, Lucas, is the prime suspect and she even gives off all the details to the team at the PBI. While they are tracking his hotel and have no news about his whereabouts, Milla is literally staying at the same place. Will she let her personal matters get in the way of her profession? Will she expose Lucas or let him go free?

The South African crime thriller series takes a deep dive into the underbelly of the crime world and it seems like no one can trust anyone. When Lucas returns from a short trip, he finds out Milla has gone through his things. Lucas finally confesses that it was Nkunzi's men who carjacked him and explains what really happened. But Milla tells him to not call her. "It's best if we don't contact each other," she tells him.

As tension rises and more mysteries are revealed, things become more and more complex and you can't side with anyone. At the PBI, they are trying to find a clear picture of Lucas and the woman he is with. As the episode comes to a close, Milla's face is exposed. What will be the consequences? The last few minutes keep you hooked as Milla in brought for questioning and Lemmer gets busted as Flea van Jaarsveld (Trix Vivier) holds a gun to his forehead and asks: "Looking for someone?"

With that suspenseful cliffhanger, the episode ends and leaves stacks of questions behind. What will happen in the next episode as 'Trackers' comes back next Friday at 10 pm ET/PT on Cinemax? Directed by 'Bordertown' fame Jyri Kähönen, the series is quite an underrated one but it will keep you engrossed in its riveting plot and you must not miss it!
