'Tough as Nails' gave a chance for the everyday American heroes to come together and use their skills to win a big cash prize. With a winning amount of $20,000 waiting at the end of the game, every contestant has been making sure that they bring on their best game to the show.

The show had set up tasks that would test the physical and mental strength of the contestants while making sure that they know how to win a challenge by working in a group setup. The first task consisted of a test to check their strength while the second one was to see if they had an eye for accuracy.

Danny Moody was the first to win the task and Luis Yuli won the second task. They were chosen as captains for the two teams. As they continued to select people who they thought would be fit for their team, they also had to come up with a name for it. Danny and his team decided to call themselves 'Team Dirty Hands'. They thought it was the perfect name to describe themselves as they all were about to get their hands dirty to make some good hard-earned money. Meanwhile, Luis and his team decided to call themselves 'Team Savage Crew'.

The first group task was to lay out the tracks accurately and fast. Team savage crew struggled to get things right but as time passed, the group got back and managed to win the competition. Later, it was time for the individual challenge that saw Young An and Lennett Key in the bottom two. At the end of the day, Linnett was the one to get eliminated from the individual challenge but her journey would not come to an end as she was still part of the group challenges.

The season premiere of the show left all the viewers satisfied. "@ToughAsNailsCBS Is a good show. I'm hooked so far!!! Loving all the contestants!!! All different types of work. This is a great idea," read one comment. "I LOVED having a 2-hour premiere of #ToughAsNails tonight! Got to meet and get to know so much of the cast and their stories without the show feeling too rushed or having anyone feel invisible. Great to have an extended premiere!" said another.

"What a great first episode of #ToughAsNails on CBS. Great cast, diversity, and people from all types of hard-working careers. The challenges in episode one were great as well. Will be watching again next week!" said another.

'Tough as Nails' airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on CBS.
