Although Gareth Bale hasn't suited up yet, he most definitely will as the Spurs resume their action against West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur is perhaps that one side that's had a helluva a transfer window. You can picture Daniel Levy and Jose Mourinho sitting back with a cuppa and a smile on their faces for ticking all boxes during the window. They wanted a cover for Harry Kane. They got it in the form of Brazilian striker Carlos Vinicius. A full-back was needed to lend more depth. They got that too. Needed a stronger midfield. Check. The return of Gareth Bale has given Spurs fans a lot to rejoice about.

The acquisition of Matt Doherty, Sergio Reguilon, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg augur well for the side. This has been the best Spurs unit so far and their striking has been anything but spectacular. The numbers in the Europa League serve as ample proof. They don't need to rely heavily on Son and Kane like the previous season to win games. Although Bale hasn't suited up yet, he most definitely will as the Spurs resume their Premier League action against West Ham.

Here's a quick look at the in's and outs for the Spurs:

IN: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Southampton, undisclosed), Joe Hart (Burnley, free), Matt Doherty (Wolves, £14.7m), Gareth Bale (Real Madrid, loan), Sergio Reguilón (Real Madrid, £30m), Carlos Vinicius (Benfica, loan).

OUT: Tariq Hinds (Released), Jan Vertonghen (Benfica, free), Michel Vorm (Released), Rayan Clarke (Released), Jonathan Dinzeyi (Released), Phoenix Patterson (Released), Maxwell Statham (Released), Maximus Tainio (Released), Troy Parrott (Millwall, loan), Kyle Walker-Peters (Southampton), Timothy Eyoma (Lincoln, loan), Armando Shashoua (Atletico Baleares, undisclosed), Luke Amos (QPR), Shilow Tracey (Shrewsbury, loan), Oliver Skipp (Norwich, loan), Jack Roles (Burton, loan), Ryan Sessegnon (Hoffenheim, loan).

Focusing on Bale, his agent, Jonathan Barnett said the Spurs prodigal son had a title clinch in mind. "Tottenham has got a good squad, a great coach and with Gareth’s help, I’m sure they will get very close [to the title]. You only have to see the results from last week to see that it’s open. It kills me to say that because I’m an Arsenal supporter, but that’s the reality. He has nothing to prove to anybody. He’s won more than anybody else. He was one of the best three or four players in the world and I think he still is. If he succeeds, great, if not, he’s been there and done it. But, I think he will succeed."

Tottenham may have had a loss in their first game against Everton, but they bounced back with massive wins over Southampton and Manchester United. They face West Ham on October 18.

What are your thoughts on Tottenham Hotspur's acquisitions during the summer window?
