'Total Bellas' Season 4: Who is Maya Laurinaitis and why does everyone already hate her?

UPDATED JAN 8, 2019

'Total Bellas' is set to make its fourth season premiere next week and is already stirring up controversy. Nikki Bella recently announced that her stepsister Maya Laurinaitis will be joining the show as a new cast member and not everyone seems to be thrilled with the addition.

Last season, Nikki was accused of using her split with John Cena as a publicity stunt. At the time, the ratings of the show fluctuating and fans accused Nikki on cashing in on the split and even alleged that the second split had been staged just for the cameras. Nikki and John had got back together after their initial split for a while hoping to work things out — unfortunately, they soon parted ways for good. With Maya coming on to the next season, fans think that the twins are using the platform to promote their sibling — well, although it is still 'Total Bellas' the last time we checked.
