Tom Cruise is reportedly considered to be a god in Scientology where the lower ranks of members are forced to watch his new movies several times. It has also been said that Cruise is thought to "be a deity" within the questionable religion which many former members call a cult.

According to ex-member Leah Remini, Cruise is only outranked by the group's leader. During a conversation with Page Six, she revealed, "He is second to David Miscavige — the savior of the free world." Another former member of the church added that the lower ranking Scientologists are forced to watch Tom Cruise movies by their leaders who reportedly buy many thousands of tickets to boost Cruise's box office.

As reported by The Sun, former Scientologist Bree Mood revealed in an interview, "Tom Cruise was a god in the lower ranks — every time a Tom Cruise movie came out they’d buy all his tickets. It could be 500, 1,000, up to 2,500 people. I’m not kidding."

Earlier this month, Cruise was seen at the front of a celebration which marked the birthday of founder L. Ron Hubbard that took place in Clearwater, Florida, which is said to be the church's spiritual Mecca, as stated in journalist Tony Ortega’s blog known as The Underground Bunker.

Cruise had been introduced to the church in the 1980s by his first wife Mimi Rogers. Cruise's adopted daughter, Isabella whom he shared with Nicole Kidman recently stepped out publicly for the religion. Isabella fronts the church's March 19 recruiting email where she talks about her experience of completing an "auditing" internship at Scientology, London. The process of auditing is where a low-level person called a "pre-clear" has to hold on to electrodes which direct electricity through the body.

The current moves a needle on a machine known as an E-meter which is supposed to register harmful energy related to painful experiences.

In the past, Isabella has always chosen to keep a low profile but chose to open up about her auditor training and said, "This IS what I had been searching for. The missing piece. Suddenly everything began to make sense... I became that annoying girl in the org who would just talk endlessly about how incredible training is... now I KNOW."

"We all need to do this... This is a gift to yourself and so many others... If you are going to make it as a being for the long run you NEED this," she continued. Scientologists are of the belief that people have lived many past lives and are actually many millions of years old.
