'Titans' Season 2 Episode 11's Jericho reveal creates three distinct possibilities for the show to choose from

At the moment, it's not entirely clear what exactly has happened to Jericho or even why he would wait five years to make his survival known instead of just killing all the Titans immediately. We have a lot of questions that need answering right now.

'Titans' Season 2's explosive Episode 11 'E.L._.O.' dropped quite the bomb in its last few moments with the reveal that Jericho Wilson (Chella Man) is alive, in a manner of speaking. While his father Deathstroke / Slade Wilson (Esai Morales) did destroy the young man's mortal body, the episode reveals that Jericho's ability to possess other people may have allowed him to survive by lying dormant in someone else's mind.

In all honesty, we did suspect that this might be the case but that doesn't mean it's not a big moment. Not only does this make us rethink everything we thought we knew all season but it also creates three distinct possibilities for how exactly Jericho might have survived and how the remaining two episodes of the season might go.

1) Jericho is inside Deathstroke

This is the most likely possibility and also the scariest. So far, we've been led to believe Slade was attacking the Titans as revenge for Jericho's death but if it is Jericho himself who's been play-acting as Deathstroke all along, that means the adorable young metahuman we knew is gone and Jericho is now a truly twisted villain. Deathstroke's enhanced abilities already make him a deadly fighter but if the true enemy here is Jericho himself, then that makes him nearly unstoppable.

2) Jericho is inside Dick Grayson

This one is slightly less likely but still a possibility. We've seen Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) hallucinate that he's talking to his father Bruce Wayne (Iain Glen) twice this season and in Episode 11 he even had a "fight" with the hallucination. So if that was actually Jericho messing around with Dick's head while trying to help him get better, then that changes everything, erasing Dick's guilt and making all those strange ghost-Bruce moments so much more meaningful.

3) Jericho is inside Deathstroke and Dick Grayson

Now, this is a wild one but it's not entirely impossible either. What if Jericho's mind split between his father and his friend so that his evil side went into Deathstroke while his good side went into Dick? Agreed, that does sound pretty lame but it would also be somewhat cool if done right. If this is what's happened, then Dick would need to hunt down Deathstroke once again so that he can reunite the two broken halves of Jericho and bring him back to life, which could either be the most impressive thing ever or just a very campy way to end the season, depending on the execution.

At the moment, it's not entirely clear what exactly has happened to Jericho or even why he would wait five years to make his survival known instead of just killing all the Titans immediately. We have a lot of questions that need answering right now and hopefully, the next episode of 'Titans' can shed some light on the truth behind what actually happened to the young metahuman.

'Titans' Season 2 Episode 12 'Faux-Hawk' will arrive in the DC Universe on November 22.
