TikTok influencer Ophelia Nichols is heartbroken after her son, 18-year-old Randon Lee, was shot dead at an Exxon gas station on St Stephens Road one day before his 19th birthday. Nichols, who is grieving the loss of her son, is demanding justice for the murder that happened on Friday, June 24, around 7:45 am in Prichard, Alabama.

Nichols told WKRG that Lee was shot at a gas station before driving down the street to a different gas station, where he was later found dead. The TikTok star has seven million followers on the platform and is asking her supporters to help find his killer, who remains on the loose. "I have never asked y'all for anything, but I need your help with this. He was just 18 years old. That's the best part of somebody's life, and I know they're out there in my town. They're out there," she said as she cried in a video that has amassed more than 16.3 million views.

"It's hard because you're putting all of your faith, hope, and trust into these people and the police department, and you have to sit back and hope and pray that they do what needs to be done so that the person or people who did this to my baby child gets behind bars. You have no choice but to sit here and wait," said Nichols, as per NBC 12.

"People talk. People talk, so I wanted that video to be seen because if the person who did this to my son could see what he did to our family. He took my son from me. My son," she added. "I spoke to him yesterday morning around 10 to tell him I had his money for his birthday. He was looking forward to it. Just hanging out with his friends and girlfriend. His family was his life," Nichols explained.

She further revealed that Lee was an organ donor and would live on even in death, helping others. "I have this hatred in my heart that I don't recognize. Because I've never felt hate for anybody," said Nichols, talking about the anger and frustration inside her because of losing her son. In a comment on the video, she wrote, "Just been told we have a lead on 2 individuals. I hope they see this video & know what they have done to my family."

"You see other people go through stuff like this and it never crosses your mind that -- that would one day be you. But to have an individual make the choice to take your child from you -- he had a choice -- they had a choice and they chose to take my son from me," Nichols added. The investigation is ongoing, but no arrests have been made and the motive behind the murder is unknown at the moment.
