Joe Exotic is still fixated on punishing Carole Baskin, husband Dillon Passage dishes on sexless marriage

'Tiger King' star Joe Exotic's husband Dillon Passage recently opened up about his marriage with the former zoo owner on Thursday, April 23, saying he is not concerned about their sex life while his partner is in prison.

Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, received a 22-year prison sentence on multiple convictions, including 17 charges of animal abuse and two counts of murder for hire of business rival Carole Baskin.

Passage, while talking to FUBAR Radio's Access All Areas hosts Joanna Chimonides and Stephen Leng, said that he is not concerned about keeping things spicy between him and Exotic while the latter is in prison. The 22-year-old explained that he is not driven by sex, and particularly ruled out any dirty talk in prison, saying: "Obviously we don’t have sex phone calls over his jail stuff!"

When the radio show's hosts asked him about the legalities of such a phone call, Passage said: "You know, I have no idea. Obviously I have not been in that situation, but I feel like it would be really weird and awkward. That’s just weird!" He, however, admitted that his husband is still fixated on Baskin and wants her to get caught for allegedly killing her husband.

Big Cat Rescue CEO Carole Baskin, however, has denied such accusations. Exotic and Baskin's feud centered around their differing opinions on what constitutes animal cruelty. Exotic, accused of animal abuse, denied Baskin's claims that his roadside zoo contributed to "an industry of misery".

When asked whether Exotic's priority at the moment is his marriage, his tigers, or bringing down Baskin, his husband revealed: "Obviously him getting Carole caught for killing her husband is a huge thing to him, which, who knows what happened. The investigators could either find something or they couldn’t. It’s really up in the air. If they do then they do and if they don’t then I kind of feel for her because everyone’s been saying she’s killed her husband and if she didn’t then that’s gotta really have an impact on her."

Baskin's husband, Don Lewis, mysteriously disappeared nearly 23 years ago. The case has not been solved to date and he has been declared dead. Exotic, however, is convinced that Baskin was behind her husband's murder and fed him to her tigers.

"I would say Joe’s main priority is his marriage for sure. I think his main goal though once he gets out of jail is to rebuild his reputation because it was totally tarnished and torn to pieces once he got arrested," Passage, nearly 35 years younger to Exotic, said of his husband. "And he wasn’t able to tell his story until this documentary came out."

Passage, who also features in the Netflix hit series 'Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness', added that he has been receiving explicit pictures from his fans. "I’ve definitely received quite a few nudes from people and it’s just like, 'keep that to yourself.' I already know what a wiener looks like, I don’t need to see yours too!"

The 22-year-old also talked about how his life has changed after the popular seven-part docu-series. "People keep calling me a celebrity and I’m like, I’m just a normal dude. I do everything that everybody else does. It’s not like I’m living in Hollywood or anything like that!" he said. "It’s definitely been weird, people wanting to take pictures and reaching out to me. I just found there’s a frickin’ Dillon Passage fan page on Instagram! Now I’m just waiting for the hate page, honestly!"

While discussing the allegations that Exotic abused his animals, Passage defended his husband, saying he never laid a hand on any of his animals. "I really want to make this clear. When everyone is saying that Joe abused his animals, they are referring to the cub petting and abusing the tiger cubs. But never once did Joe ever lay a hand on one of his animals," he said.

The Netflix docuseries has become a hit among the viewers, with even celebrities favoring Exotic's early release, and even President Donald Trump's eldest son Donald Trump Jr called Exotic's prison sentence "aggressive."
