Where is Tiffany Dover? Death hoax busted as Tennessee nurse faints after Covid-19 vaccine: 'She's doing well'

A nurse from Tennessee stirred controversy after she fainted on live television, a few minutes after taking Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine. The 30-year-old nurse, Tiffany Dover, who works as a nurse manager at the CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, fueled conspiracy theories among the anti-vaxxers after collapsed on air. Later, it was found out that she suffers from a condition that sometimes causes her to faint when she feels pain.

Dover and her team of nurses were among the frontline medical workers to take Pfizer's first batch of vaccines. She was on live television as she received the vaccine, and about 17 minutes later, she fainted. In the footage, she can be seen telling ABC's New Channel 9: "All my staff is excited to get the vaccine. We are in the Covid unit, so my team will be getting the first chances to get the vaccine. And I know that it's really..." She then cuts off and says: "I'm sorry I'm feeling really dizzy." Shortly after, she collapses to the ground as colleagues move in to catch her.
 
However, despite her breakdown, she was able to stand up and speak with news teams again. “It’s common for me,” she said about her fainting. Doctors at the hospital later confirmed that the incident was not a reaction to the components of the vaccine. The CHI Memorial hospital also put out a statement on Twitter, saying, “On Thursday, 17 December 2020, CHI Memorial administered its first doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to six individuals - three physicians and three nurses. Shortly after and while conducting a media interview, one of the nurses became dizzy and was assisted to the floor. She never lost consciousness and quickly recovered.”

But soon after her on-air appearance, Internet users noticed that Dover "vanished" from her social media accounts, sparking her death hoaxes. Since she took the jab, Dover has not been active on all of her social media accounts, due to which Netizens are flooding her social media pages with comments and concern as rumors about her death continue to float in.

The last post made by her was on December 14, 2020. Several people showed concern on her last post, as one said, "I don't understand.. If you are still alive.. How is it possible for you or your family to not say a word? People are really worried about you and the situation. Also, I have been thinking about you several times today.. Hope you are okay." While another one wrote, "If she was alive I think she would make posts letting everyone know she’s okay. Safe to say theirs an evil agenda to this and people should start waking up ASAP before it’s to late. God bless hope your okay my prayers go out to you."

One Twitter user wrote, "I just heard that Tiffany Dover the nurse who fainted after the Covid shot is dead. Her friend on Facebook said this and family is getting death threats so they shut up.There is also a gag order." Another one said, "Tiffany dover, a nurse passed out after the vaccine. They wont report her recovery because of privacy but they will report how we should take it and trust them... "

Sharing a series of screenshots, another one wrote, "WHAT HAPPENED TO NURSE #TIFFANYDOVER? HER INSTAGRAM IS STILL UP BUT LAST POST WAS 7 DAYS AGO. SO SHE’S DEAD THEN?! IF THEY’RE TRYING TO HIDE THE TRUTH, THAT WON’T REINFORCE TRUST IN THESE SUSPECT COVID 19 VACCINES. BEWARE. PROTECT YOURSELF. CONDOLENCES TO DOVER FAMILY. " Another one shared her picture and said, "Tiffany Dover, the nurse who passed out after taking the covid vaccine, has been without updating any of her social networks for six days. Thousands of people are leaving comments worried. There has been no response from the family, which feeds news that she was dead."

Following rumors about the nurse's death, the hospital clarified that she is doing well. The hospital tweeted, "UPDATE: Nurse Tiffany Dover appreciates the concern shown for her.  She is home and doing well.  She asks for privacy for her and her family."
