'TI & Tiny': Will LeToya skipping counseling session for glamping trip put a dent in her marriage?

'TI & Tiny: Family & Friends Hustle' has set the scene for some good TV next week. LeToya Luckett and Tommicus Walker's marriage isn't at a great place and that is because the couple is still grieving the loss of Tommi's mother, Ruby Jean Walker-Ambrose, who died of cancer in 2019.

Ever since, LeToya has been trying her best to ensure that Tommi snaps out of it but it isn't easy to move on from such a tragic loss. On his birthday, the singer gifted him a pendant etched with the warmest words: "Ruby Walker, forever in my heart."

However, there's a lot Tommi has been keeping from LeToya with regard to emotions and that was when she thought he needed help from special people, with whom he can talk and share his worries.

She called pastors John and Aventer Gray for help and they arrived. "There's a lot of stuff to unpack here. You're dealing with a terminal illness, a new baby, a new marriage. Right, so nothing stopped. What we have to identify is what is the proper path going forward for you to get the healing that you need," John shared.

After that, the couple sat in different rooms to speak about their issues and give the pastors a clear understanding of what is really going on in their marriage.

Clearly, they are in a vulnerable space. Their equation is shaky at the moment and it would require more such sessions for them to get to a place from where they can start afresh, beginning with renewed enthusiasm. But it's not going to be easy. There are challenges ahead and tough ones at that.

Next week, LeToya will be planning for a glamping (glamorous camping, which means adventurers will get access to resort-style services) trip with Tameka "Tiny" Harris, Monica Brown and a few of her other friends.

Coincidentally, the counseling session with Tommi falls on the same day as her trip. He asks: "What's more important?" but she goes anyway. Will this put a dent in Tommi and LeToya's marriage?
