Tenants murder landlord after he visits apartment to evict them, hide body in crawl space
Authorities have arrested 31-year-old Manuel Velasquez, 38-year-old Jessica Miller, and 30-year-old Diana Hernandez in connection with the murder of real estate agent David Stokoe
A Utah real estate agent was murdered and stuffed into the crawl space of an apartment where he went to collect rent, with authorities arresting and charging the two tenants, as well as a friend of the tenants in connection with the killing.
According to the Daily Mail, 40-year-old married father-of-four David Stokoe, of South Jordan, Utah, was first reported missing by his wife Nikki on Thursday, January 16, after he did not return home from work that day. Court documents stated that Stokoe had gone missing after traveling to the apartment of 31-year-old Manuel Velasquez and 38-year-old Jessica Miller to collect rent.
