Third GOP debate: Vivek Ramaswamy blames GOP chairwoman Ronna McDaniel for no red wave in America

The entrepreneur blames McDaniel for weakening the red wave, stating that the party consistently delivers poor results

MIAMI, FLORIDA: Vivek Ramaswamy took a swing at GOP's chairwoman Ronna McDaniel right off the bat at the third Presidential Debate. 

When asked for what makes him a better choice for Republican voters, the entrepreneur blamed McDaniel for making the red wave weak in the country, noting that the party has been consistently showing poor results, or as he labeled them, "a party of losers".

The young and fiery GOP candidate continued to win over the shock value of the presidential debate as he called out the losses of his own party.

"I think there's something deeper going on in the Republican party here. And I am upset about what happened last night. We've become a party of losers at the end of the day."

He then noted a "cancer" in the red party, continuing to bring up the chairwoman of the RNC. 

"Let's speak the truth. I mean, since Ronna McDaniel took over as chairwoman of the RNC in 2017, we have lost 2018, 2020, 2022, no red wave that never came."

As he referred to the big loss for the Republican party suffered in the state of Virginia with the former Governor Glenn Youngkin, he expressed his concern for the presidential election. 

"We got trounced last night in 2023. And I think we have to have accountability in our party."

The entrepreneur then called for the chairwoman to resign from her position on the debate stage itself. 

"For that matter on, if you want to come on the stage tonight, you want to look at the GOP voters in the eye and tell them you resign, I will turn over my time to you." 

Internet divided over Ramaswamy's call for RMC's resignation 

Many appreciated Ramaswamy's attack on McDaniel as they reacted to the debate on X. 

A user especially noted that Ramaswamy was basically slamming Trump as they wrote, "Just a reminder since everyone is cheering Vivek for saying that Ronna McDaniel should resign. The only reason she's the RNC chair right now instead of @pnjaban is Trump backed her despite her long record of failure. Her failures are his failures."

Some were simply impressed by the candidates remark and said, "Vivek came to roast some BBQ, holy hell."

Another post said, "WOW. Vivek from the top ropes right out of the gate! I just got goosebumps from that! Tell em Vivek!" A user also said, "A couple of right crosses and an uppercut by Vivek Ramaswamy in the first minutes of the fight, I mean debate."

He might have expanded his voter base too as one user confessed, "@VivekGRamaswamy I just became a huge fan of Vivek Ramaswamy as he hit it out of the ballpark about @GOPChairwoman RINO Ronna McDaniel, biased reporters hosting the debate and confronting them to their face."

"He is correct, Ronna should resign," another one agreed, "The GOP continues to lose under her. If the CEO of a company consistently loses money for their company, they get fired. Why hasn't she been fired, it's the same situation."
