NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jordan Belfort, also renowned as ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ recently admitted on 'The Megyn Kelly Show' that he will “take Donald Trump any day of the week” from the “GOP Party.”

Megyn Kelly had invited Belfort for a quick discussion about his upcoming book, ‘The Wolf of Investing’ when during the conversation, the veteran journalist posed an intriguing question to the former stockbroker.

She asked, “Do you have a favorite on the GOP side who you’re rooting for?”

Belfort admitted that he “loved DeSantis” but concluded by stating that he would have to go with Donald Trump, “any day of the week.”

Belfort appeared on Kelly’s podcast to discuss how everyday Americans can invest like the rich and finance experts and the importance of not gambling when investing while keeping the focus on his new book.

After being asked the tricky question, Belfort responded with clarity. He said, “I loved DeSantis and I really hoped he get the traction he was going to get.”

On Trump, Belfort mentioned, “There’s the thing that I love about Trump and then there’s things that I hate about Trump. I think Trump is his own worst enemy but I look at the world under his presidency, it was a better world.”

Belfort claimed that Biden’s policy to “give up energy independence set the stage for so much awful s**t.”

He then continued to talk about Trump and said, “I have mixed emotions about Trump. If you look at what was going on, it was very good for the country but there’s also like this divisiveness. Granted, he was attacked and framed for things he didn’t do so he’s under constant attack.”

Belfort questioned himself, “Do I think he’s the nicest guy in the world? No, and I was hoping for a better version of him.”

He later declared that if the choice comes to be between Biden and Trump, he will choose Trump.

“But if it’s Trump or Biden, I’ll take Trump any day of the week and twice on Sundays, I’ll tell you that much.”
