Though the kids of 'The Walking Dead: World Beyond' may have grown up in safe surroundings, the world is still a dangerous place and they're about to experience that first hand. With walkers or, as they're now called, "Empties", around every corner, the team making their way through the city is going to have to be on high alert. They're going to need someone to make the inevitable tough decisions that keep them all alive and someone to lead the way. Iris (Aliyah Royale) might think she's a natural fit for the role - but her sister Hope (Alexa Mansour) has some concerns.

The group may have been training all their lives to be able to deal with Empties but training and practical application are two different things. Iris, a natural leader all her life, is going to try and take charge of the group on the outside but the kind of leadership she's used to might not stack up to the survivalist needs of the outside world. Hope is concerned and the two sisters might just come into conflict sooner than later, especially as they'll be trekking through a dangerous section of zombie-infested land known only as the "Blaze of Glory".

In the meantime, Felix (Nico Tortorella) and Huck (Annet Mahendru) are on the group's trail, pushing themselves to the limit to catch up to the kids and bring them back before harm befalls any of them. Felix, in particular, is seen in the promo straining his limits as he forgoes sleep in his journey. It might not just be his concern for the children that pushes him, though, the trailer and the synopsis both imply that the outside world has more than a few demons that Felix may not want to be confronting.

The official synopsis for the episode, entitled 'Blaze of Glory', reads, "The group adjusts to the reality of life beyond their community's walls; Iris attempts to take charge, in spite of Hope's reservations; Felix and Huck trail the teenagers while Felix is forced to confront unwanted memories."
