Spoilers for 'The Walking Dead: World Beyond' Episode 10: 'In This Life'

One of the highlights of the series was the relationship between Iris (Aliyah Royale) and Silas (Hal Cumpston) that developed in the middle of the series run. As 'World Beyond entered the final phase of Season 1, it introduced two new characters in Percy (Ted Sutherland) and Tony (Scott Adsit), two more survivors making a living out of stealing and salvaging supplies. When Iris gets relatively close to Percy, a grumpy Silas is seen morosely observing the two having fun.

Eventually, Tony is killed in a gruesome manner, and Silas is held accountable for it as his dark past makes it easier for the team to deduce he was the murderer. In a shocking twist, the burly teen also confesses it was he who killed Percy as well and splits up from the group. Elton (Nicolas Cantu) goes in search of Silas, only to find an injured Percy before he stumbles into Silas. While it does seem that Silas and Percy seem to make peace with the past, there is still that unfinished storyline of the trio's supposed love triangle.

To clear some things up, it's actually Huck (Annet Mahendru) who shot Percy and killed Tony. Although a drunken Silas with no memory might have just blurted out a confession thinking his tragic past might have actually come to the fore when he saw Tony's dead body (A quick reminder: Silas killed his father who had turned in self-defense).

Coming back, as the season ended, Silas was seen surrendering to the CRM to save Elton and Percy and it was Iris' words that prompted him to take the brave call. This shows he still has feelings for Iris. With all the teens separated, the question is will Percy and Iris rekindle a spark of sorts? It was evident considering the way they bonded. Season 2 will see the teens reunite at some stage and if Percy goes on to become an active member of the group, we can expect a more emotional storyline and a possible love triangle on the show.

This will surely complicate the relationship between Iris and Silas as the former has an idea that the teen likes her. This would add to the show's depth as 'World Beyond' has clearly stated its intentions: "This is about the teens and their journey." So, a personal conflict is most definitely a possibility.

'The Walking Dead: World Beyond' will most likely return with Season 2 in 2021.
