'The Walking Dead' showrunner teases 'interesting turns' for Princess in Season 10 finale
Fans of 'The Walking Dead' have been eagerly waiting for more details about the Season 10 finale 'A Certain Doom'. Now in an episode of Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton Morgan's 'Friday Night In with the Morgans', 'TWD' showrunner and executive producer Angela Kang has revealed that new fan-favorite character Princess (Paola Lázaro) will have some interesting turns in her journey coming up.
"Obviously we've got this new power group of four, with Princess and Ezekiel and Eugene and Yumiko, that is off on the road, and so we are going to see some interesting turns in that," Kang revealed.
"And then the big story that we have been following all season with the Whisperers. Now that Alpha is gone and Beta is having to step up into that leadership role — with his kinda half-Alpha and Beta face — we're going to see our people take their stand against Beta and the Whisperers," she continued, adding, "There's some pretty cool things going on with Negan. We've got Carol kind of in her quest for redemption, we've got some awesome stuff with Father Gabriel, we are waiting for the return of Maggie, Daryl has got some awesome business going on. You know, it's the whole cast, everybody is so great."
Lázaro was also featured in the episode and had some nice conversations with the Morgans about a range of subjects including her ADHD. Jeffrey Dean also spoke about growing up with dyslexia and the two agreed that they have had to work harder than anyone else because people kept doubting them over their conditions.
The fans loved the episode and a number of them have taken to Twitter to share their admiration for Kang and Lázaro. "Such a great episode @JDMorgan @HilarieBurton! @angelakang & @paola__lazaro are so inspirational, I love their energy. Also...amazing tans y’all got 😂#FridayNightInWithTheMorgans," one fan wrote. Another fan tweeted, "I always enjoy our weekly episodes of #FridayNightInWithTheMorgans... another wonderful episode with @angelakang @paola__lazaro @JDMorgan & @HilarieBurton... both Angela and Paola are such inspiring, wonderful women. So glad to learn more about both of them."
