'The Voice' Season 17 Top 11 results: Kat Hammock enters the Top 10 and fans say the contestant from Team Blake is 'overrated'
'The Voice' season 17 returned on Tuesday night for its results, and only 10 contestants made it through to next week's competition, and one amongst them is Kat Hammock from Blake Shelton's team but fans claim she is not ready and don't get what is the fascination with her.
Blake has only two contestants left in his team, Ricky Duran and Kat Hammock. Ricky Duran was the first contestant to advance to the Top 10 and he deserved it after he rocked his fan chosen song on Monday night. Fans chose Rod Stewart's 'Downtown Train' for Ricky and he aced it without hitting a dull note. On the other hand, fans chose the classic hymn, 'I'll Fly Away' for Kat Hammock.
While Blake had high hopes from Kat, claiming that she would be the most-streamed artist of the night with that performance, he was proved wrong after she had issues with her pitch during her performance and hit flat notes as well. This didn't go unnoticed by fans who took to Twitter post her performance and revealed that her performance wasn't the best.
Back again on Tuesday night, Carson Daly revealed that Kat was saved by America which left Myracle Holloway from Team Gwen and Shane Q from Team Kelly in the bottom two fighting for the Instant Save vote by America. Shocked with the results fans once again took to Twitter to share their disapproval with Kat moving on claiming she isn't ready for the competition. They were shocked by how Myracle and Shane were in the bottom two and not Kat.
Taking to Twitter a fan wrote, "Why are hello sunday and Kat going through to the next round?? #notok #TheVoice."
"I can see MaryBeth and Hello Sunday... but I am sorry... NOT Kat..... #TheVoice," shared a fan. While another added, "#TheVoice I don't get the fascination with Kat."
"how is kat safe... #TheVoice," a fan wrote. Adding to that another said, "I’m skeptical on the KAT save - she’s not ready - not at all #TheVoice."
"Voice fans, I apologize, but Kat Hammock is overrated and doesn’t have much versatility on the stage #TheVoice," wrote a fan. While another added, "Kat? Really? She's always out of tune. #TheVoice."
