UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: On 'The Voice' Season 24, Mara Justine and Claudia B were at ease with one other, pulling off a secret handshake before sitting down with John Legend.

In the end, John had to let one vocalist go, even if it meant allowing another coach to steal his artist.

John stated that the song 'Son of a Preacher Man' would enable both singers' talents to emerge since it was equally suitable for pop, rock, and soul.

He advised the women to strive to make the performance appear as easy as the singer Dusty originally did.

Claudia began the song, and Mara immediately joined in, the two becoming one unified sound.

"How do y'all do this?" Reba shouted, "You're so talented and so young!" She stated that the pair's performance drew her in, but she would choose Claudia.

"I remember both of your auditions very well... very sad I didn't have you on my team," Niall said. Niall liked Mara's performance more.

"You delivered today," John replied to the duo, noting that their voices were significantly different. He chose Mara as the winner, leaving Claudia open to be captured by another coach.

Niall has used his steal to get Claudia to join his crew. "I love how pure Claudia's voice is. No way I was ever letting Claudia go home," Niall stated.

"I love when my artist gets stolen," John remarked of Niall's choice.
