'The Voice' Season 19: Kelly Clarkson fills all spots with Emmalee, Internet says 'give that girl the trophy'

The 20-year-old singer from Tennessee, Emmalee performed her own version of Whitney Houston's ‘How Will I Know’ on the final episode of blind auditions on ‘The Voice’ Season 19 and floored the judges with her charm and confidence. John Legend was really impressed with the singer’s performance as he pressed the red buzzer and turned his red chair around within a few seconds followed by an equally elated Kelly Clarkson.

Gwen Stefani did not turn her chair around and Blake Shelton has already filled all the spots in his team with the trio Worth the Wait from the latest episode. John Legend and Blake Shelton loved the different version of Whitney Houston's song. Legend was all praises for her as he loved the execution adding that her voice is lovely.

While speaking to the new contestant, Kelly Clarkson also shared a mutual feeling as that of the other judges and said she also loved her version of Whitney Houston's track. While choosing between John and Kelly, Emmalee opted for the latter as she got the opportunity to complete her team.

Social media users also loved Emmalee’s performance. One user took to Twitter and stated, “You betta put on for the state of Tennessee Emmalee! and LOVEDDD the version of the song! Fire #TheVoice” One individual shared a snippet of John stated, “feel the same way @johnlegend does. Season 19 of 'The Voice' premiered on October 19, 2020. As of now, Team Legend's contestants are Tamara Jade, John Holiday, Cami Clune, Sid Kingsley, Rio Souma, Olivia Reyes and the very latest Julia Cooper. Team Blake consists of Ian Flanigan, Jim Ranger, Taryn Papa, Aaron Scott, Jus Jon and the latest Ben Allen, Sam Stacy and the trio Worth the Wait. Team Kelly has Joseph Soul, Eli Zamora, Marisa Corvo, Madeline Consoer, Ryan Gallagher, Kelsie Watts and Tanner Gomes while Team Gwen has Lauran Frihauf, Payge Turner, Liam St. John, Chloe Hogan and the latest Ryan Berg and Carter Rubin and the latest addition Van Andrew.

The new season of 'The Voice' is being hosted by Carson Daly. Season 19 episodes will be aired on NBC. Fans can also catch the singing reality show on the official website of NBC and on their official app along with the network's new streaming service Peacock.
