'The Voice' Season 17 Top 8: Fans think Ricky Duran, Katie Kadan, Jake Hoot and Rose Short have the highest chance of making it to finale
'The Voice' Season 17 is nearing its end, this week the semifinals began. The Top 8 contestants took to stage giving their best hoping to make it to the finale.
This week it was all about the 1980s and the semifinalists all sang two songs each. A solo song, and a duet. It was the night where the contestants brought their best out because it is definitely a tough competition this season with the singers all being unique in their own each way.
John Legend is the only coach who has his team intact with three contestants while Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson both have two contestants each in their team and Gwen Stefani has only one contestant remaining in the competition.
The three contestants with the highest vote will advance to the finale next week automatically and the two with the least number of votes will be eliminated immediately. The remaining three contestants will have a chance to fight out with their Instant Save performance hoping to get the last spot in the finale.
The Top 8 contestants who will be filtered down to four tomorrow when The Voice returns are: Jake Hoot (Team Kelly), Katie Kadan (Team Legend), Ricky Duran (Team Blake), Rose Short (Team Gwen), Hello Sunday (Team Kelly), Kat Hammock (Team Blake), Will Breman (Team Legend) and Marybeth Byrd (Team Legend).
When it comes to who has a higher chance of making it to the finale, fans claim that it will be Rose, Katie, Ricky and Jake. Taking to Twitter fans claim that these four contestants have a higher chance of making it because of their impeccable performances throughout the season from start to now.
"If America gets it right, final four: Katie, Rose, Ricky and Jake. #TheVoice," shared a fan. Adding to that another said, "I know it's unwise to call any contestant a mortal lock on a week where the field is getting cut from eight to four. But I don't see any path where Katie, Ricky, Rose and Jake don't advance to #TheVoice Top 4. If it turns out I'm in for a rude shock, who's most at risk?."
"If this is truly about the voice, it will be Rose, Ricky, Katie and Jake. Rose won the night. #TheVoice," a fan wrote.
While another shared, "Rose, Jake, Katie should be the top 3. Cause come on. We all know that they're the best out of everyone and the last one should probably be will or Ricky cause come on. They're better then the others."
