'The Voice' Season 17 Top 13 finals: Katie Kadan's powerful singing has fans and judges calling it the best performance so far
Katie Kadan's performance on 'The Voice' Top 13 live finals, was definitely the best we've heard to date this season 17.
'The Voice' season 17 was back on our screens on Monday night for 'Dedication Week'. The contestants all dedicated their performance to someone important in their life or something important in their life. Last week when the top 20 performed, we saw John Legend's team come up on top with the best performances the night had to offer. This week, John Legend's team was once again at the top with their performances.
Katie Kadan stole the show yet again with her rendition of 'I’m Going Down' by Mary J. Blige. Katie dedicated her song to her single girlfriends after she had her share of ups and downs in relationships. John called Katie a combination of vulnerability and fire and said that he loved that about her.
Her performance was impeccable and emotional. It had John on his feet cheering for her. Post her performance Carson Daly said, "Wow! That was something. That felt like the finale for a minute."
Carson was also right when he said if Jennifer Hudson was in the room, she would definitely be throwing some shoes after her performance. John said it was the "best performance we’ve seen this season by far," and we stan. The coaches weren't the only ones who couldn't get enough of her performance. Fans took to Twitter post her performance raving about her singing and were rooting for her win all the way.
"The only person I added to my #TheVoice team this season was Katie Kadan and I dont regret it at all. She’s the best!!!" wrote a fan. Adding to that another fan said, "Katie, thus far, is UNTOUCHABLE!!! #TheVoice."
"It’ll be unreal if someone other than Katie wins this season of #thevoice," shared a fan. While another wrote, "Katie Kadan. Girl just won the whole damn thing. #TheVoice2019 #TheVoice."
"Katie Kadan is my newest mother f**king hero, y’all. YOU HAVE to look her up. I don’t even really fuck with #TheVoice like that, but this woman is IT!" raved a fan.
