'The Voice' season 17: Mega mentor Taylor Swift's presence might just fill the void Adam Levine left behind, say fans

The Voice season 17 anounced Taylor Swift as the mentor and fans were quick to express their excitement over the news.

'The Voice' premiered with its season 17 with Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton as the judges but the news that excited the fans the most was Taylor Swift joining the team as a mega mentor. A mega mentor works behind the scenes with the contestants and guides them with necessary input. Fans were quick to express their excitement over the news of Swift joining the crew.

Many fans thought that with Swift joining the show the contest will become more enjoyable. "Still can't believe you'll got @taylorswift13 on this season. Guys are still killing it!! @NBCTheVoice" wrote one fan. Another noted, "@taylorswift

Others thought that with Swift on board, they might start watching the show. "I might actually watch the voice!" read one comment. Another user added, "Ok looks like I’ll be watching the Voice again #TaylorSwift."

Some could not contain their excitement after hearing the news. "OMFG YESSSSSSSSSS OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG,"one fan tweeted. For others, Swift was the cherry on top that they were looking for after Adam Levine decided to leave the show.

"I'm not surprised that @taylorswift13 is the mentor on @NBCTheVoice with Adam Levine being gone they had to get someone who could bring the awesomeness that he did, and I honestly think they couldn’t have picked anyone better," a user noted. Meanwhile, others thought that Swift would prove to be a good mentor for the contestants.

"Whoever gets her will really learn," another fan noted. Shelton, Clarkson, Legend, and Stefani all praised Swift as a singer and spoke about the show benefiting from having her on the team. While we may not get to see Swift often there is no doubt that the contestants would learn a lot from the singer.
