'The Voice' season 17 is coming to an end with its nailbiting Battle Rounds, and on Monday when the series returns, the series will waltz into the Knockout Rounds towards the second half.

While there is a day left for 'The Voice' season 17 to air with its episode, the series already has us hooked, after they recently released a sneak peek into the Knockout Rounds with the battle between Katie Kadan and Max Boyle from Team Legend.

We already know that Katie is a firecracker the second she starts to sing and going up against her is a losing battle but, maybe that's what we assumed. Interestingly, in the sneak peek, Max really stepped up his game, giving Katie a run for the win. It surely was a tough battle, and we can't wait to see who John Legend picks as the winner. Because the sneak peek ended right before John could reveal the winner.

Performing first was Katie. Singing her rendition of Janis Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart” Katie blew the roof off the stage. She portrayed "star power" as Gwen Stefani shared post her performance. Kelly Clarkson, on the other hand, called Katie's performance magical and said that it was the perfect song for her. Blake Shelton shared that though Max gave his best and stunned everyone with his performance if he had to pick, he would still choose Katie.

Though everyone including coaches and viewers were worried about Max's performance not being up to par of Katie's he did deliver. Performing his version of “When The Party’s Over” by Billie Eilish, he got the attention of everyone with his raspy voice that complimented the song perfectly.

Post his performance, Gwen who was worried for him before his performance said, "You were gorgeous, It’s so crazy, You can go all the way up there and still be so strong. It’s rare to be so emotional and bring us in, in that way that you did." Adding to that Kelly said, “I expected Katie to be Wonder Woman. I didn’t expect you to be Superman.” Blake tells Max, “It’s easy to remember Katie every time she comes out here, they have to repair the roof! But it’s a great time for you to have the kind of moment that you just had.”

With all the raving reviews both Katie and Max got from the coaches, it looks like whoever John decides to eliminate, will be stolen by the other coaches, or he might use his one save on them. Who do you think John will choose as the winner of the Knockout Round?

Fans on Twitter are torn apart in trying to predict who John might choose, but it is currently anyone's game with the radar slightly pointing in the favor of Katie. We will have to wait till the series airs on Monday night.

"How will @johnlegend choose?! Max’s version of that song gave me full-body goosies! And Katie is a superstar. They both deserve to stay," wrote a fan. While another said, "Both are perfect performances! @maxboylemusic is what’s current and should win the Knockout!! I sure hope @johnlegend makes the right choice!!"

'The Voice' season 17 airs every Monday and Tuesday night only on NBC. Check your local listings for more information.
