'The Voice': Chloe Hogan eliminated with low votes, angry fans say 'America you all need to stop voting'

Fans declared that Chloe was 'robbed' after she was eliminated from the show for getting fewer votes than Bailey Rae

Fans from across the country cast votes for their favorite contestants following their performance during the top 17 round, to get them to the top 9 round. It was finally time to reveal the results, and the coaches were just as surprised as us with the results. Desz from Team Kelly got the maximum votes amongst her team members, so she automatically secured a spot in top 9. Kelly Clarkson was given a chance to pick another contestant from her team who could be sent to top 9, and the coach picked Cami Clune.

From Team Gwen, it came as no surprise when 15-year-old Carter Rubin swept in all the votes amongst his fellow team members. Gwen Stefani chose country singer, Ben Allen as her pick to be sent to the top 9. From Team Blak, Ian Flanigan's gravelly voice won over fans, and he secured the maximum voted. Blake Shelton chose Jim Ranger as his pick. Finally it was Team Legend's turn, and John Holiday's unique vocals secured him a spot on top 9, while John Legend picked Tamara Jade as his pick to be sent to top 9.

The remaining contestants, were once again brought out, and from each team the contestant who secured maximum voted amongst them, would have the opportunity to perform for an instant-save vote from the audience, and thus go into the top 9 as the wild card entry. From Team Legend, Chloe Hogan and Bailey Rae were the last remaining contestants fighting for a spot on top 9. When it was revealed that Bailey secured more votes than Chloe, and she would be performing for the instant save, fans began fuming.

Several fans felt that Chloe should have been the one performing for the instant save, and declared that she was "robbed". A fan tweeted, "So sad to see Chloé Hogan leave #TheVoice She was ROBBED! (I had to say it) #VoiceResults." Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, "Chloe Hogan was ROBBED #TheVoice." "Wtf, are you sh*tting me. Chloe you look like a dam Goddess standing there. I wish you were the chosen one. #TheVoice," wrote an angry fan.

Another fan commented, "Chloe sang better then almost everyone last night. This show man... #TheVoice." "Did they seriously eliminate Chloe from #TheVoice just now?! Seriously?! She is so talented and yet so young!! You try having that voice and sing jazz at that age! America u all need to stop voting for country. That’s not all the music that’s out there," pointed a fan.
