'The Voice' coach Niall Horan feels threatened as he dubs Gwen Stefani 'liar' in feud over CORii
UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: 'The Voice' Season 24 coaches Niall Horan and Gwen Stefani were seen pressing their button for CORii after Reba McEntire went ahead to choose Ms Monet, leaving CORii eliminated. Since CORii bagged two judges, it was her decision to choose one.
Niall was the first to press the buzzer for the singer. But, just a few seconds later Gwen managed to press hers as well. As both feuded to make CORii choose then, Niall joked about Gwen, "She did take a little bit longer."
Niall said, "I think you have got more strings to your bow than we think. I'd be very excited to work with you." As it was Gwen's turn to pitch herself to the singer, Niall stood up and made a fighting position.
He then claimed, "Come on Stefani, I'm not scared of you." Well, even though he said he wasn't it clearly seemed that he was scared of her stealing away CORii.
Niall also went on to call Gwen a "liar" as she tried making CORii pick her.
Gwen Stefani claims CORii need more 'taming'
Gwen claimed, "It was a really really good battle." She added, "It's like a little tweak to show you that you got so much charisma."
However, Gwen believed CORii just needed a little bit of taming so that she could be a bit more "cooler" and add more of her personality to the song.
Gwen then pitched herself, "I wanna work with that, so I would love to have you on Team Gwen." Niall instantly interrupted saying, "Don't listen to her, she's a liar."

CORii was left confused seeing two judges press the button for her. Before making the decision she said, "Help me Reba!" Niall interrupted her saying, "You don't need any help, come on."
Reba understood CORii's situation. She said, "That's tough, I know." After some intense music, CORii said, "I'm gonna pick Gwen." Gwen indeed outbeated Niall. She then stood up and imitated slapping her face with her hands in the air towards Niall.
Gwen jumped in excitement and went on the stage to hug CORii. Niall was clearly left disappointed and with poker face he looked here and there as Gwen went on the stage.
'The Voice' Season 24 airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET and Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on NBC.
