'The Voice' 2022: Who is Sydney Kronmiller? 25-year-old wows judges with her low notes
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Switching between high notes and false notes can be pretty tricky, even the most seasoned singers struggle with it. But the same can't be said for 25-year-old Sydney Kronmiller, who effortlessly juggled between deep low notes and impeccable high notes effortlessly leaving 'The Voice' coaches speechless.
Sydney picked Sam Smith's 'Latch' for her audition performance. Camila Cabello turned her chair as soon as Sydney began singing, while Gwen Stefani followed suit. Though John Legend didn't turn for Sydney, he still appreciated her vocals. Blake Shelton too was impressed with Sydney though he found some minor issues in her falsetto. In the end, it was left to Sydney to decide who she wanted as her coach- Gwen or Camila. Who is Sydney Kronmiller?
25-year-old Sydney Kronmiller hails from Ogden, Utah. Sydney credits her father for inculcating the love for music in her. She recounted how she used to ask her father to sing songs during bedtime instead of reading stories. Sydney's life turned upside down when she was around the age of seven after her parents divorced. Her mother turned to alcohol and soon became an alcoholic.
The singer got emotional as she spoke about how her mother wasn't as present in her life as she would have liked. When Sydney was around 15, her mother began working towards sobriety and came back into her life. Today, Sydney names her mother as her biggest supporter and cheerleader. Syndey's mother too got emotional when she recollected the things Sydney had to go through in her life. We can't wait to watch Sydney's journey on the show.
