NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘The View’ executive producer Brian Teta extended a warm welcome to Ana Navarro on the latest episode of ‘The View: Behind the Table.’

During the episode, the co-host delved into her recent encounter with ‘The Mandalorian’ star Pedro Pascal, shared anecdotes about an epic house party, and offered her insights on the recently appointed House Speaker, Mike Johnson.

After the infamous Kevin McCarthy ouster, Navarro shared memes of McCarthy as the hunt for a new nominee began. Recently, after Jim Jordan and Steve Scalise were almost nominated as Speaker, Johnson swooped in with a win.

Following Johnson’s win, Navarro has expressed her thoughts on how she now “misses” McCarthy and the internet isn’t pleased.

Ana Navarro labels Mike Johnson ‘homophobic’

After Brian Teta and Ana Navarro spoke about parties and celebrity run-ins, Teta changed the topic to something more ‘The View’ related.

“What do you make of the new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson?” asked Teta.

Navarro responded immediately, “I think he looks a lot like Steven Colbert, I think Steven Colbert could play him on Saturday Night Live.”

She continued, “Look, I think he’s cuckoo-for-cocoa-puffs, he has made some terrible remarks about so many issues, he’s made terrible remarks about gays, and gay rights, he’s homophobic. Look, finally, there’s a Speaker of the House.”

“I never thought that a new Speaker of the House would actually make me miss Kevin McCarthy, but I miss Kevin McCarthy already,” added Navarro.

Navarro also claimed that Rep. Mike Johnson has the “least amount of experience of any Speaker of the House in over a hundred years.”

Internet reacts to Ana Navarro’s claims against Mike Johnson

As ‘The View’ host Ana Navarro spoke about how Mike Johnson has made her “miss” Kevin McCarthy, the internet was quick to respond.

One user wrote, “WHO CARES WHAT YOU THINK ANNA?????” along with a gif that read, “Nobody gives a s**t.”

“You would miss McCarthy, he is a RINO,” wrote one user, and another said, “I absolutely love seeing you all triggered, and in typical form, you are all spewing garbage!”

People also came to Johnson’s defense as one wrote, “Because we have a speaker that will actually defend our rights?” and another said, “If ana don't like him, you know he's a great guy.”

“Her fight to stay relevant is painful,” wrote one user, and another said, “You are nothing but a shameless hypocrite Democrat hack!”
