Ana Navarro says she has 'no sympathy' for Ivanka Trump after the court rejected her 'too busy to testify' claim

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The Trump family has been making rounds to the courthouse amid the New York civil fraud trial against former President Donald Trump, his business, and his family.

The court rejected Ivanka Trump’s claim that she is too busy to testify during school week, according to The Guardian.

However, just a day after this news, ‘The View’ co-hosts reacted to the decision made by the court, and Ana Navarro did not hold back.

Navarro claimed that she had “no sympathy” for Ivanka, and following her monologue on 'The View', the host received criticism on social media.

Whoopi Goldberg comically narrated the topic to her co-hosts, “Now, to talk about a real comedy show, you-know-who’s kids are having their days in court. A judge did not buy Ivanka's claim that she couldn't come to New York because of childcare issues.”

“So, the judge was like, ‘I don't think that's going to fly, babe.’ She's going to be here next week. Yesterday, her brothers, Don Jr and Eric, testified. Attorney General Letitia James gave a post-court wrap-up that I wish had music to it. Take a look,” said Goldberg.

‘The View’ then played a video of Letitia James, which received applause from the hosts and the live audience before Ana Navarro took over.

Navarro said, “Ivanka gets no sympathy from me, and most American women and men who have to balance all sorts of duties. Girl, I fly back and forth between Miami and New York at least twice a week, and I don't have a private jet or $2 billion from the Saudis. I think you can do it for one day.”

“There are a bunch of people, women who show up to court pregnant like this. There are people who have to show up and balance work duties. She's got the means, certainly. She was at Kim Kardashian's birthday a couple of weeks ago,” added Navarro.

Navarro also asked about the “father,” “She traveled all over the world when she was at the White House, and the children were smaller. Also, don't these children have a father who can take care of them on a school day?”

‘The View’ host Ana Navarro also shared her statement on Ivanka Trump to X, formerly known as Twitter.

Her tweet read, “Ivanka Trump says she can’t come testify in NYC fraud trial against her father because it’s a school night and she has to stay home to take care of her kids. Girl, please. Not the Judge, not me, not anybody is buying your sob story.”

In response to Navarro, one person wrote, “Well, maybe if it were a serious proceeding about charges tied to a serious crime by serious people in positions of power. Instead, this is all just political theater and a joke. So, I don’t blame her for prioritizing her kids over the joke,” another wrote, “Ana has no kids, so she does not understand.”

“Is the view canceled yet?” asked one user, and another said, “Find a new subject. You are horrible to listen to. My mom even stopped watching your show.”

Navarro continued to face backlash as one person wrote, “I'm sorry that you've been given the mistaken impression that anyone cares about your opinion,” and another said, “You are disgusting.”
