LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The View’ host Whoopi Goldberg is under fire once again for her inappropriate and rude behavior on the show. The 67-year-old has not been on a good run of form with many calling out her abrupt behaviour lately but this time, it’s the fans who have slammed her for eating during the live show.

Whoopi’s behavior has been labeled "gross and unprofessional” with many fans stating her apparent disrespect and disregard for the feeling of others. For them, Whoopi also violated the sanctity of the show by being too casual with her work and in a way mocking her co-hosts who were completely in line, trying to uphold the standard of the show.

What did Whoopi Goldberg do which infuriated the fans?

During Thursday’s episode of ‘The View,’ Whoopi welcomed everyone but seemed to have something in her mouth. The first topic of the day was country singer Jason Aldean's controversial song 'Try That in a Small Town.’ As she read from her script card, it appeared to the fans that she was chewing on food. She wasn't seen picking up food while eating, but she looked and sounded like she had been munching on something right before the show began and couldn’t finish before the camera rolled. While speaking, Whoopi paused a few times to chew and swallow. This moment was not liked by the fans, not one but, especially when Whoopi had been walking on a thin line with them.

It’s not the first time that Whoopi had been called out for her rude and indifferent behavior. Only recently, ‘The View’ host tore up her script cards and also walked out during a segment. She also interrupted Joy Behar and gave her a not-so-pleasant look when her phone rang. Whoopi is famous for his over-the-top antics but as they continue to pile up, so does the angry reaction of the fans who just can’t seem to fathom Whoopi’s unpredictable behavior anymore. A few fans took to Twitter to address the eating debacle and made their voices heard.

‘Whoopi could you not put something in your mouth before taking the stage?’

A furious bunch of fans wrote in rage, thrashing Whoopi for her unprofessional behavior. One fan wrote, “Umm Whoopi, could you not put something in your mouth before taking the stage? #TheView.” While a second mocked, “The opening greeting is Eat-talking?! #TheView We're so rude to interrupt her brunch #Hottopics.” A third stated, "Was Whoopi eating during this program. She can't wait an hour between meals to finish her work before stuffing her face? What's up with that?” A fourth said,” Whoopi should be banned from eating.” A fifth joked, "Whoopi should have an eating contest with Jerry Nadler and Chris Christie!”
