'The View' host Sunny Hostin attends book talk for her NY Times Bestseller 'Summer on Sag Harbor'
LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK: As we all already know, 'The View' hosts are talented in many things besides just hosting the talk show. Co-host Sunny Hostin continues to prove that trend by recently taking part in a book talk for her New York Times bestseller 'Summer on Sag Harbor'.
The talk show host visited a library in The Hamptons to participate and discuss her second book. She was engaged in a conversation with another author Harriette Cole and also interacted with fans through an author's signing held at the library itself.
Who is Harriette Cole?
Cole is a writer who focuses on lifestyle and self-help-related areas. She is from Baltimore, Maryland but currently resides in New York City. She has been married to George Chinsee since 1993 and shares a daughter with him named Carrie Emmanuelle Cole Chinsee. She was born in 2003 and is 20 years old.
Cole runs her own media company called Harriette Cole Media back in 1995 under which she published several books and original magazines. She also worked with former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama. The author has made several appearances on the 'Today' show and has been featured in many major tabloids.
Sunny Hostin attends a book talk
Hostin went to the East Hampton Library to attend a book talk for the second book of her 'Oak Bluffs' series. The book was an instant NY Times Bestseller when it was first released. An excerpt of the Goodreads description reads: "In a hidden enclave in Sag Harbor, affectionately known as SANS—Sag Harbor Hills, Azurest, and Nineveh—there’s a close-knit community of African American elites who escape the city and enjoy the beautiful warm weather and beaches at their vacation homes. Since the 1930s, very few have known about this Historically Black Beachfront Community in this part of the Hamptons on Long Island, and the residents like it that way. That is, until real estate developers discover the hidden gem. And now, the residents must fight for the soul of this HBBC."

Attendees and staff from the library shared photos of the show host speaking to Cole and interacting with her readers. One such post's caption read, "Psst …spy the hat in Sunny’s arm - it belonged to the incomparable & beloved William “Bill” Pickens III (aka the real-life unofficial mayor of Sag Harbor Hills & the book’s character, Mr. Whittingham). Thank you, Slim and Pam. Well done!"
