‘The View’ host Ana Navarro briefly shared her thoughts on Donald Trump’s exclusive interview on Univision and criticized the network

MIAMI, FLORIDA: Univision recently interviewed former President Donald Trump, during which they canceled Joe Biden's 2024 campaign ads in key states and faced severe backlash for the same, according to MSNBC.

‘The View’ host Ana Navarro addressed the issue on social media as she had questions for Univision after their interview with Trump. The interview has sparked outrage but after Navarro’s response, the internet doesn’t seem too thrilled with her.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, ‘The View’ host Ana Navarro briefly shared her thoughts on Donald Trump’s appearance in an exclusive interview on Univision.

Navarro wrote, “#univision has held the powerful accountable. Corrupt strong-men squirm under questioning by @jorgeramosnews. A soft-ball, 1-hour puff-piece w/Trump, who’s been terrible to Latinos & immigrants, is inexplicable. Is there something we don’t know?”

A few days later as the backlash towards Univision grew, Navarro wrote, “It wasn’t just a friendly interview. It was an embarrassing 1-hour puff-piece with lots of smiles and no pushback with a guy who relished in attacking, belittling, and otherizing Latinos and Latin American immigrants.”

Most recently, Navarro shared her “disappointment” with the Hispanic network and said, "@Univision, we are disappointed & have questions…In 2015, Trump kicked @jorgeramosnewsout of a campaign event & never again granted them access. Suddenly, he’s sitting for a 1-hour interview that’s been described as ‘so soft it could be pillow-stuffing.’ WTH is going on?”

With this, Navarro shared an 8-minute video for her followers, explaining the 101 and the entire situation with Univision and Trump, but the internet wasn’t too impressed.

Ana Navarro faces backlash on X

After ‘The View’ host shared her take on Univision’s interview with former President Donald Trump, the internet didn’t seem too thrilled with Ana Navarro.

One user wrote, “They don't want to get on the wrong side of the next President.”

Another wrote, “Cry more bruh. @Univision was respectful of a presidential candidate, how dare they!”

“Get over it!” wrote one user, while another said, “He’s a former president. Why wouldn’t they interview him? Just because you don’t like him? Don’t watch then. It sounds like you really want a media that censors.”

“Univision wised up,” opined one user, while another wrote, “It is sad to see a pseudo self owned Republican be sooo out of touch with Latin communities.”
