LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After their Fourth of July summer hiatus from 'The View', each co-host had an interesting story to share with the audience. However, it seems like the travel bug bit Ana Navarro quite hard while she was vacationing with her husband, Al Cardenas, and their dog in the Dominican Republic. The co-hosts tend to turn to Navarro whenever they need to plan a vacation, as she's perceived as an expert in the field.

Navarro’s Instagram stands as proof of her adventurous journeys, and now 'The View' co-hosts have confirmed that if anyone knows how to plan a trip, they are most likely to hit her up. In a recent episode, co-hosts Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Sunny Hostin chimed in to discuss whether overplanning can take the joy out of a vacation.

Ana Navarro knows how to plan the perfect vacation

Behar, who was the moderator for the vacation segment on Friday, July 21, began introducing the topic, saying, "You know, it is vacation time for people and summer travel season, which can be a nightmare, I don’t know if you realize that, but airports are packed, it's very hot. But a writer from Vox says that our obsession with overplanning and setting sky-high expectations for the perfect vacation is ruining the fun for everyone." Behar went on to mention that she recently read about how people enjoy planning a vacation more than the vacation itself. Then Hostin said, "I don’t like planning a vacation at all. I like going on vacation with Ana because she plans all the stuff," pointing to how great Navarro is in arranging a holiday for her friends. Behar replied to Hostin, stating, "That’s what you need, a wingman."

'I turn into like an Amazon warrior princess when I go on vacation'

Hostin continued to elaborate on Navarro’s travel planning skills, stating, "She’s good. She knows every single restaurant, the top restaurant. She knows all the activities. She is floating in the ocean with the tortoises. She’s doing all of it." When Navarro finally got a chance to speak, she said, "I turn into like an Amazon warrior princess when I go on vacation…one that consumes a lot of margaritas." This earned 'The View' star a scattered laugh from the audience before she continued, "But I think people need to do a little research before they go on vacation. But, I also think we need to have patience, and we need to be open to different experiences. Not everywhere is the United States, not everywhere is going to have great wifi, not everywhere is going to have great water pressure." Behar added air conditioning to the list as Navarro reaffirmed the importance of research before vacation, after which the vacation segment ended.
