NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The judge overseeing Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial issued a gag order on Tuesday (October 4) after the former president made comments about the judge’s clerk, The Guardian reports.

On Wednesday, this gag order became a topic of discussion on ‘The View’ as the ladies discussed Donald Trump and the civil fraud trial.

Sunny Hostin provided her legal expert, and Joy Behar came in with some light-hearted comedy, claiming Trump is “broke.”

However, the kicker landed when Sara Haines was censored by ‘The View,’ which also left her confused.

Whoopi Goldberg introduced the topic of Donald Trump’s gag order to her co-hosts, “Yesterday, I asked a question about when you-know-who would be held accountable for his threats and trash talk to people.”

She continued, “It's been answered. The judge presiding over his fraud case slapped a limited gag order on him.”

The audience broke into a cheer and Goldberg added, “Then ordered him to delete a social media post where he attacked a law clerk.”

‘The View’ then discussed the topic, with Sunny Hostin’s legal contribution, however, Joy Behar mentioned the potential $1000 fine.

Behar said, “Here's the thing, I was reading he would only be fined $1,000. Not for nothing, I don't think he has the money. He's broke.”

Sara Haines talks about ‘Back to the Future’

After Joy Behar’s comment on Donald Trump’s financial state, Sara Haines chimed in, “Remember Biff in ‘Back to the Future’ was based on Donald Trump.”

In response, Alyssa Farah Griffin asked if that was true, and Haines reassured her that it was.

Haines then continued, “Think about what he was like in 1983 when he was a jerk off doing what he does. Nothing's changed. Like legit…can I not say that?”

Sunny Hostin asked, “Can you say that?” and Whoopi Goldberg shook her head and said, “No.”

Haines defended herself, “It wasn’t even a swear!”

She looked at the producer, who simply corrected her on the release date of ‘Back to the Future’ which was 1985, and not 1983.

Haines continued, “Okay so I was two years premature, he was still a complete jerk,” Hostin interjected, “I don’t think you can say that either.”

“I don’t think I have words left, I feel like Donald Trump,” said Haines, and Behar joked about them “gagging” her.
