PARIS, FRANCE: The fifth episode of 'The Veil', titled 'Grandfather's House', finally revealed Adilah El Idrissi's (Yumna Marwan) association with ISIS.

Created by Steven Knight, the show brilliantly weaves the story of a veteran MI6 agent, Imogen Salter (Elisabeth Moss), who is assigned to determine the true identity of a suspicious woman named Adilah, suspected to be a fearsome ISIS leader.

In the most recent episode, Adilah escapes Imogen's apartment and meets Emir (Alec Secareanu), perplexing both the CIA and the DGSE. It is subsequently revealed that Adilah is cooperating with ISIS just to protect her daughter Yasmina (Keyla Bara/Neyla Bara).

Emir also asks Adilah to prove her loyalty to the terrorist group by executing Imogen.

As soon as Adilah flees, Max Peterson (Josh Charles) devises a nefarious scheme to kidnap Yasmina in order to obtain information from Adilah regarding the whereabouts of the ship with explosives.

He subsequently approaches Imogen and tells her that her services are no longer required by the CIA while also asking her to contact her if Adilah approaches her.

At the same time, Imogen receives a message from Adilah requesting her to meet at Montmartre, but she does not inform Max.

Working alone, she successfully takes Yasmina from her apartment using trash cans, eliminating the cunning surveillance.

Later, she meets Adilah and tells her everything, leading her to break down. Imogen soon discovers a man with a knife who intends to assault her. Sensing an emergency, she takes out her revolver, points it at Adilah and departs the scene.

The man then informs the Emir about the unsuccessful scheme, who then boards a ship that contains the radiated cores.

Max, on the other hand, finds out about Yasmina's disappearance and correctly concludes that Imogen is to blame.

Later, Imogen and Adilah are seen at a gas station, where Imogen informs Adilah that Yasmina is on her way to England and she is attempting to forge a new identity for both mother and daughter.

Adilah expresses her gratitude to Imogen but is surprised when Imogen demands that if she wants to see her daughter again, she must reveal information regarding the location of the ship.

Adilah is stunned by Imogen's threat and compares her to ISIS, who were also blackmailing her through Yasmina.

Both women engage in a heated exchange of words, with Imogen lamenting her for causing trouble for her and Yasmina by joining ISIS of her own volition, to which Adilah mocks her for not understanding what motherhood entails.

Imogen, when confronted, admits that she understands what motherhood entails but refuses to elaborate.

Later Adilah mocks Imogen for having white privilege and not knowing the issues that her people suffer.

Finally, as Imogen is about to depart, she sees a flashback of herself lying on a bed with baby clothes in her hand, named Mr Demir sitting on a chair, and a young girl, presumably Imogen, sitting by her.

Although Mr Demir's face is not been revealed, it is possible that he is linked to Imogen's troubled past.

Finally, the recollections ignite something in Imogen, who returns and boldly asks Adilah if she wants to reveal information about the attack so she can come in the car, marking the end of the episode.

'The Veil' Episode 5 is now streaming on Hulu
