'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' Full Cast List: Meet the 6 couples and hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey
Reality dating shows are becoming increasingly interesting in terms of themes and concepts. Netflix is one of the platforms that is experimenting with dating reality series like 'Too Hot To Handle' and 'Love is Blind.' The latest reality dating series 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' is by the makers of 'Love Is Blind'.
When it comes to high-concept reality dating shows, 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' follows in the footsteps of 'Love is Blind'. The show takes a look at the different facets of romantic relationships. It will put existing relationships to the test and encourage couples to discover what they want from their lives and their respective futures. While 'Love is Blind' explored the stability of a connection made without first 'seeing' one's partner, this one has individuals in existing relationships being paired off with new partners in a trial marriage situation. After living together with someone new for three weeks and experiencing life without their original partner, they return home. Finally, they must decide whether they want to continue in their old relationship and get married, leave with a new partner, or leave alone.

Meet the couples
April Marie and Jake Cunningham
April, 23, has been dating Jake, 26, for two years and is the one who has issued the ultimatum. April and Jake's two-year romance is on the verge of a breakdown. April mentions in the teaser that she wants a ring and a child with Jake. Jake, it appears, does not agree with April; he states that he recently got out of the military and wants to travel and have fun; he does not want to get married just yet. April is concerned about if there is a ring in her future, and Jake is still considering 'dating around' scenarios.
Alexis Maloney and Hunter Parr
For the past two years, the pair have been dating. Alexis, 25, is the one who gave Hunter, 29, the ultimatum. Hunter hasn't responded to Alexis's question until now, despite the fact that he claims to be in the right place to do so for both of them. Let's see how their relationship holds up throughout the show. Alexis isn't one to play around. Is Hunter able to provide Alexis with the answers she seeks?
Shanique Imari & Randall Griffin
Shanique and Randall have been together for one and a half years, making their relationship one of the shortest among the contestants. But it's the connection that counts, not the amount of time spent together. Shanique has given her partner an ultimatum. Shanique says in the teaser that she is ready for a child, but Randall isn't even ready for marriage. She wants a ring, he wants money to pay for the ring. Who will emerge victorious in the end?
Lauren and Nate Ruggles
Lauren and Nate had been together for two and a half years, and it was Nate who issued the ultimatum to Lauren. Lauren is content with the current level of commitment... but Nate wants more. Lauren says she doesn't want children and that she sometimes feels awkward talking to kids. Nate, on the other hand, wants to marry and raise a lovely family that definitely includes children. Looks like the two of them can't come to terms with each other on this issue. Will this decision about children tear them apart despite the love they share?
Rae Williams and Zay Wilson
Zay and Rae have been together for the past two and a half years. They began dating in college and are still going strong. Rae believes in the theory of graduation, career, proposals, kids, and all that, and she is ready to spend the rest of her life with Zay. Zay, on the other hand, is apprehensive since it is his first real meaningful connection in life, and he is still trying to figure out what life is all about. Rae has given the ultimatum to Zay.
Madlyn Riley Ballatori and Colby Kissinger
Madlyn and Colby, one of the 'youngest' couple on the show, have been dating for one and a half years. Colby has given Madlyn an ultimatum in this case. We heard Colby's remark in the teaser that he is ready to propose and marry Madlyn since he is so in love with her. Colby's partner Madlyn, on the other hand, believes there is someone better out there for her. It'll be interesting to see how their story unfolds in the show. Will Colby win the title of "Madlyn's man"?
The ten-episode 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' is all set to premiere on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, on Netflix.
