'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon': John Cena praises Jimmy for his professionalism and fans are loving it

John Cena's surplus amount of praise and outpouring of love for Jimmy had fans going crazy for their friendship. 

Sunday night was filled with a lot of specials. While sports fans had their eyes hooked to the Packers vs. Chiefs game, NBC's 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' aired with a special episode that featured professional wrestler and actor John Cena, and country singer and 'American Idol' judge Luke Bryan. 

The lead guest for the night was Cena, who spoke to  Fallon regarding his forthcoming movie 'Playing With Fire' that is set to release in theaters on November 8th. Prior to their segment, Cena and Fallon entertained the viewers with a game of fish slap where we got to see Cena, slap the daylight out of the host with a fish. 

Fans took to social media to share their views on the game, stating that it was a fun way to end their Sunday night, and it was definitely the highlight of their evening. But that wasn't what stood out during the entire episode. 

What got fans raving about the episode was the friendship and bond between Cena and Fallon. Cena took a moment out of their segment to rave about Fallon and how hardworking he is. Cena's surplus amount of praise and outpouring of love for Fallon had fans going crazy for their friendship. 

Taking to Twitter a fan wrote, "Jimmy & John Cena’s friendship is so pure & funny! One of my fav guests on the show! #FallonTonight." Adding to that another fan said, "I teared up too after John complimenting Jimmy for his professionalism and hard work! #SundayNightFallon #FallonTonight." 

"Jimmy is the Best, he deserves all the accolades going, he is the sweetest human being on the planet and his FalPals love him unconditionally #FallonTonight@jimmyfallon @FallonTonight @JohnCena," shared a fan. 

While another said, "@jimmyfallon I respect you to bits Jimmy, thank u for ur unending hardwork and dedication... I love you, u are the best role model #FallonTonight."
