The latest episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ had two of the most-honored female country musicians of all time, the legendary Dolly Patron herself and Kacey Musgraves, who has racked six Grammy Awards and several other honors for her significant contribution to country music.

Not only was the presence of these well-renowned artists in tonight’s episode awe-inspiring, but also highly enthralling as Parton made a few interesting revelations about Netflix’s upcoming anthology music series titled ‘Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings’ which chronicles eight of her famous songs and the stories they’ve drawn inspiration from, with an episode dedicated to each of them.

While Parton repeated the infamous story behind her song ‘Jolene’ which is placed first in the series, and briefly spoke on how it’s slightly different than the real-life incident, the country singer left us surprised by revealing the clairvoyant gift a few members of her family are blessed with!

When Fallon asked her about ‘These Old Bones’, which is one of the eight songs featured in ‘Heartstrings’, Parton said her family comprises of many psychics, who the song drives inspiration from. The singer further added that even she holds some of the psychic powers, which enables her to read palms.

Well, we wouldn’t know how true Parton’s statement holds or comment on her psychic skills, but we definitely wouldn’t love to watch the role it had to play in creating one of the best country tracks ever.

The latest episode featuring the country music legend was undoubtedly one of the most interesting offerings of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’. We couldn’t stop marveling her as she spoke about experimenting with music back in the day when she worked on her first few songs. Re-enacting one of the stunts, Parton showed how she created an interesting sound in some of her original records by simply rubbing her nails against one another!
