'The Titan Games' Season 2 Episode 8 Preview: It's participants vs Hannah Teter and Tyron Woodley
The Titans have conquered the Central and West Region and it's now time for the East. In the upcoming episode of 'The Titan Games', the participants will fight it out among each other and tasks we know too well by now, including 'Lunar Impact', 'Nuts N Bolts', 'Kick Out', where they will test their strength, strategy-making skills, agility, mind and heart. The battles ahead are tough, but it is up to the participants to grind their teeth and take on the challenge. The handpicked in the East are snowboarder Hannah Teter and UFC champion Tyron Woodley.
The synopsis for the upcoming episode reads: "The competition moves to the Eastern Region as new competitors push their bodies to the limit by battling opponents in unforgiving head-to-head challenges, designed by host and executive producer Dwayne Johnson. In this episode, competitors will compete in a best of three competition where the winner will move on to battle a Pro-Athlete Titan on Mt. Olympus, the consummate athletic test of speed, strength, agility and endurance. The top female competitor will face Olympic gold-medal winning snowboarder Hannah Teter, while the top man will advance to compete against five-time UFC champion Tyron Woodley. Cari Champion and Alex Mendez serve as commentators."
So, it's up to participants like Will Sutton, Kareem Brinson, Haley Johnson and Cynthia Gauthier to dethrone the handpicked Titans. Not only that, they also have to hold on to their title for the next few episodes because more participants are vying for the title of Titan.
In the West, Noah Palicia and Margaux Alvarez emerged as Titans, and both of them had particularly inspirational stories. Noah battled his brother Eric in the first episode and after losing to him in the first round, he won during the memorable 'Herculean Pull'. After that, there was no looking back and he won against everyone who went up against him at Mount Olympus, including Victor Cruz. Margaux Alvarez defeated Kelly Valdez at Mount Olympus and then held her ground firmly, refusing to surrender her Titan Title. At the Central Region, Matt Chan and Dani Speegle emerged as Titans, after long and grueling matches.
'The Titan Games' airs on NBC on Mondays at 8 pm.
