Four grueling challenges saw six competitors give it their all, but unfortunately, they couldn't get past West Region's reigning Titans — Noah Palicia and Margaux Alvarez.

In the men's category, former Titan Victor Cruz came in as the competitor alongside Exodus Rogers and Wayne Skivington. Jessie Graff who came in as the Titan was joined by Kelly Valdez and Lindsey Hamm as they took each other in 'Hammer Down'. Here are the best moments from the West Region finals.

The nail-biting finish

Wayne Skivington in 'Hammer Down' (Steve Dietl/ NBC)

Cruz took the first place in 'Hammer Down' but for Exodus and Wayne, the game was far from over. Both athletes gave it their all but it was a matter of better forearm grip and strength as Wayne and Exodus both slipped in their ascent to grab the chain. In the end, it was Wayne's persistence that paid off as he took second place.

Jessie Graff's not down for the count

The real-life Wonder Woman as she's known, Graff made easy work of 'Hammer Down' by demonstrating some insane speed and skill. By holding the hammer close to its head, she slammed away to get the poles down in double time and quickly scrambled up to pull the chain. Valdez, in the meantime, used brute force and climbed steadily to finish behind Graff. Hamm was a tad slow off the block, costing her the win.

Cruz no Cruise

It wasn't easy for Victor Cruz, not one bit. In 'Resistance', he was weighed down by the sheer brute force Wayne brought to the table and while he had a strategy, his competition outmatched him despite the sincere efforts. However, the win came at a cost as Wayne was shown to have injured his ankle after all the constant struggle in getting the barrels off the field.

One's the deal

Valdez was keen to redeem herself (NBC)

'Resistance' is a two-minute round where the competitors are expected to toss as many drums and barrels as they can off the field. Should both the competitors fail, it comes down to sudden death where one barrel toss leads to deciding the winner. It surely boiled down as Graff decided to stack all her barrels together while Valdez flailed and pushed the barrels as close as she could. Graff's strategy failed as Valdez knocked one over with a second to spare.

Noah's still the captain of Mount Olympus

It was just another day at the office for Noah as he trumped Wayne's challenge without breaking into a sweat. However, there was admiration and respect as Wayne with the heart of the warrior still finished the obstacle course despite his injury. Noah now joins Matt Chan, the Titan of the central region.

Margaux reigns supreme

The head start was what Margaux needed (Steve Dietl/NBC)

It was time for Valdez to redeem herself and she just gave it her all on Mount Olympus, but that wasn't enough as Margaux still finished first. Valdez's display of power came in when he pulled the 200-pound ball and chain in one hand before matching Margaux blow for blow to dig up the relic from the tomb. However, the head start was all that Margaux needed.

'The Titan Games' Season 2 airs at 8 pm ET on NBC.
