Apart from being terribly nerve-wracking, the latest episode of 'The Titan Games' had most of us wondering whether we should just take the plunge and go to the gym. But yes, back to reality: Dani Speegle remained the reigning Titan, though Jaime Seeman put up an incredibly tough fight. Jaime had been breezing through the other challenges, including 'Hammer Down' and 'Resistance'. She was a runner up in 'Hammer Down' and then made a worthy comeback in 'Resistance' against Chantae McMillan. Chantae, who had steamrolled over her opponents in the first episode as well as boxer Claressa Shields, lost her Titan title in the previous episode. This was her one chance to get it back, but she lost to Seeman.

Given that Chantae has displayed enormous amounts of strength and determination, some fans were rather disappointed that she would be sent home. "Titan Games screwed Chantae! The one challenge where just being a beast vs overall skill counts to get to Mt Olympus. Chantae deserves it #TITANGames," a fan wrote.  A point to be noted is that Chantae had lost at Mount Olympus to Dani Speegle in the last episode, so it's hard to say whether she would have actually won again if she had a chance.

"Happy Matt won on #TitanGames but was hoping that either Chantae or Jaime would win," a fan wrote.

"I’m sad Chantae didn’t make it back to get her Titan title. Hopefully s can see her again next season," another tweeted.

However, other fans were not sorry to see go. After Chantae lost to Dani in the previous episode, some had accused her of being 'a poor sport'. Carrying on with that train of thought one fan wrote, "I'm glad salty Chantae got eliminated."

"Resistance was built for Jaime Seeman. She just out muscled Chantae. What a competitor!" another fan noted.

"Chantae quit," a fan wrote. Seeman lost to Dani on Mount Olympus.

Nevertheless, Chantae's spirits cannot be dampened. She had earlier told MEA WorldWide what she learned from such defeats. "Being strong, mentally, not getting too down on myself, moving on. My coach always preached to me that you do great or you do badly after one event, you have five minutes to celebrate or be sad. And then we're moving on and thinking about the next event. So that's essentially what I did. I had my pity party and then had to move on for next time."

Tune into 'The Titan Games' Season 2, next week on NBC at 8 pm.
