Four new competitors took center stage in Monday's (June 1) episode of 'Titan Games' Season 2, and one of them became the new Titan after winning a tough Mount Olympus Challenge. Kaleb Redden, a physician aka Doc Thor, Michael Hewitt, an opera singer aka Opera Man, Nadi Carey, an NCAA Basketball referee and Dani Speegle, a fitness consultant/social media influencer were the competitors from the Central Region. We have picked the best moments from the episode.

Kaleb Redden v Michael Hewitt: When Thor lends support

Doc Thor v Opera Man (Steve Dietl/NBC)

That 'Chain Linked' is no easy task shouldn't come as a surprise. However, Doc Thor Kaleb made it look ridiculously easy as he aced the task while Hewitt put in some Herculean effort. Kaleb may have taken the round, but instead of rushing to celebrate, he had words of encouragement to Hewitt egging him to finish the course. The duo faced off again in Kick Out where Hewitt proved himself to be a worthy opponent, however, Kaleb's grip strength helped to slam the poles back in their slots. The win helped book a date with Joe Thomas, the current Titan.

Kaleb Redden v Joe Thomas: When Iron Man got the better of Thor

Joe Thomas defended his title twice last week and he made it three in a row as he managed to get the better of Doc Thor. While Kaleb was racing off the blocks in double quick time, he struggled to drag the ball and chain. 250 pounds by then would have been mammoth, but ice-cold Joe, took it one course at a time and launched into a speed walk of sorts dragging the ball and hammer. By the time Kaleb reached, Joe was chopping off at the concrete slab, digging out the relic and locking it in.

Dani Speegle v Nadi Carey: A stellar display of brute strength

Nadi was a class opponent (Steve Dietl/NBC)

It was certainly a moment the audience and Dwayne Johnson would have flinched when Nadi rammed the metal wall. Dani, after winning Nuts and Bolts 1-0, was desperate to seal the deal, but Nadi proved she wasn't a pushover. Despite Dani almost inching in towards a certain win, there was a newfound burst of strength from Nadi who pushed back. But then, Dani, who had the advantage of an early push, used her last reserves of strength pushing Nadi out of the competition.

Dani Speegle v Chantae McMillan: 'Speegle's the name, speed's the game'

That was some speed. Reigning Titan, Chantae and challenger Dani moved in a similar fashion. With the right blend of agility and power, both vaulted one obstacle after the other, except a snafu for Chantae at the log lift when she failed to lock it in. Re-doing it cost her precious time while Dani was speeding her way across the remaining obstacles. She also dragged the ball and hammer easily across and slammed the concrete to pieces to dig out the relic even as Chantae edged to the finish.

But by then, the relic was locked in and a new Titan was born. Kaleb Redden and Chantae McMillan will be back next week for the Central Region finals. 'Titan Games' Season 2 airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET on NBC.
