‘The Talk’ co-host Sharon Osbourne said she would demand back the money for school fees and drama lessons if she discovered that one of her kids had become involved in sex work. She was speaking during Friday’s episode of the Daytime Emmy-award winning talk show in response to co-host Carrie Ann Inaba's question: “How would you react if your child wanted to do porn?”

Osbourne, 67, mother to Aimee, 36, Kelly, 35, and Jack, 34, said, “Listen, just for me personally, I would say I wanted all the school fees back, all the dance lessons, the drama lessons, the elocution… I would be very depressed about it. I wouldn’t feel great that my daughter had chosen… because I feel that certain educations in life, just in life, that I have given them had just been wasted. I’d be very depressed about it, really.”

The reason why this discussion took place on the daytime talk show is that Mikaela Spielberg, daughter of renowned filmmaker Steven Spielberg, revealed earlier this week that she is beginning a career in the adult entertainment industry.

Mikaela, speaking to The Sun, said her father Steven and mother Kate Capshaw, were “intrigued” but “not upset” by her new career path. The 23-year-old said, “I actually think that once they see how far I’ve come from the bottom I was at a year-and-a-half ago, they’re going to look at this and go, ‘Wow, we actually raised are really self-assured, young lady’.”

She added that her line of work was “safe, sane and consensual”, and that she was only comfortable doing solo videos rather than having sex with a partner on camera.

Describing herself as a “sexual creature” she said, “I got really tired of not being able to capitalize on my body and frankly, I got really tired of being told to hate my body. And I also just got tired of working day-to-day in a way that wasn't satisfying my soul. I feel like doing this kind of work, I'm able to 'satisfy' other people, but that feels good because it's not in a way that makes me feel violated.”
